Hi Mine is not working that way when syncing. It does not spin around , Don't I have to press the sync button?

I have the dual unit and the single unit with the lavalier mic. When I use the lavalier mic I constantly experience dropouts even when performing the auto scan. Before I buy something else is there anything I can try?

SAME HERE! Just bought it 2 weeks ago. I have used at two wedding ceremonies. Was working when tested then not during the ceremony

@@floridaweddings3182 After a ton of research I ended up upgrading to the EW-D series for my ceremonies and I bough half-wave antennae to increase signal strength. They have been great. Expensive but great. The other thing you may want to look into is the xsw2 series. They have a true diversity antennae system and the xsw1 does not. I would look up true diversity receivers as a pro would explain it much better than me.

@@floridaweddings3182 the same thing happened to me. When the room was empty the mic worked great. But as a ton of people enter the room they absorb the radio waves as they travel from the transmitter to the receiver. Basically you want a mic with external antenna (imo), you want the clearest line of sight possible, and you need to perform another scan and sync when the room is full.

@@jmoak311 Prior to this for the past year or two I was using this year BLX four and I’ve never had any dropouts it’s in equivalent to the Sennheiser no external mic or anything and I’ve never had any issues even from super far away in crowds of 150 people plus unfortunately maybe I’ll ask for is no longer available in the frequency range I had so I upgraded to the Sennheiser but it feels like a downgrade LOL

@@floridaweddings3182 yeah my buddy uses the Shure system you mentioned and he never has dropouts.
