Polly from Texas here! Thank you for this message Pastor David! Based on this message - today I’m going to pray that God shows me (and my family) what “chariots and horses” we are putting our faith in and ask Him to help us turn anything like that around into putting putting faith back in Him. I’ll ask for Him to open our spiritual eyes to see even the tiny ways we might be doing this. My guess is that some of mine may be daily things I do to cope with stress, without even realizing I’m doing it. I’ll also be praying that God gives us the strength to turn from these chariots and horses, because I’m also thinking they might be difficult to trade in if they are actually coping mechanisms. It seems like it would be easy to use some things as a crutch without even realizing we are doing it. Turning it all over to God, big and little things, is the goal I want to be aiming for with Him and what I want for my children as they grow in their relationship with Him and for my marriage.
Another great message...I'm again, so thankful for this ministry's support & encouragement. It inspires me go out & share God's faithfulness & hope with others who need to hear 'the good news'. Blessed in 🇨🇦
"Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you.” -Psalm 33:20-22✝️
Christ is my firm foundation The rock on which I stand When everything around me is shaken I've never been more glad That I put my faith in Jesus 'Cause He's never let me down He's faithful through generations So why would He fail now? (Shout it out) He won't He won't He won't fail He won't fail He won't He won't (no, no, no, no, He won't fail) He won't fail He won't fail Christ is my firm foundation The rock on which I stand When everything around me is shaken I've never been more glad That I put my faith in Jesus 'Cause He's never let me down He's faithful through generations So why would He fail now? (I need you to shout it out) He won't Sing it out, sing He won't No, He won't, no, He won't He won't fail He won't fail (He won't) He won't (yeah) He won't (I've never seen Him fail, no) He won't fail He won't fail Amen
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
3:07 ~ Key Takeaway: Sometimes we tell ourselves we need more faith, when in fact we have plenty of faith, just not in the right source ~ in our flesh we fail as all carnal strength does, and tho we are weak in spirit, yet some are willing, He is strong, and if our faith is placed in the Lord, He will see us thru. If we are short, our Father and our kinsman brother, the Lord Jesus will make up the difference, He will pay, what our debts cannot. For He is full and rich in mercy and grace.
Amen. Thank you pastor David
Glory to God and God bless you sir
Jesus Christ is faithful
