The responses of the interviewer to Saul's insightful comments are disappointing. The camera work is terribly amateurish too. Saul looks toward the screen and comments on his photographs while the camera remains tightly focused on the rear of Saul's head.
I first thought the same thing. That it is a little amateurish or off, but then it came to my mind that this was most likely done by an intern of the museum, who was actually interested in marketing, but had to do it anyway ;)
I disagree - the interviewer stated at the outset that this would be more of a conversation, so he did not try to steer the conversation in a specific direction. The person who operated the camera definitely needs some training, however, as mentioned in the first comment above.
He's such a happy oldman, always smile and laugh with a joyful souls.
Really glad this was recorded! TY A little sad to see they had a great mind and no questions...indeed sad.
"This is a shirt"...that part was great!
Everything Saul said was worthwhile. But sadly, not many were patient enough to listen.

The interviewer's questions are stupid. Saul Leiter was very patient and pleasant and truthful.
