I am 43. After a skate I can find it very hard to move. I have also had a broken pelvis. I came home from a 3 hour skate and was very stiff. I did this stretch routine and after I felt 20 years younger and I could have gone straight back to the skate park. Not exaggerating. I have tried to stretch in the past but I was not sure if it was effective. So then I don’t want to do it. This video is effective so it makes me want to put in the effort. I can already see progress in my range of movement after about 5 days of doing this daily

Do you have any recommendations for stretches or ways of doing the last stretch that are a bit easier. I want to settle into the stretch, but feel quite a painful cramp sensation in, I think the hamstrings, whenever I try. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, so I can try and build myself up to doing the stretch shown when I do this stretch session.
Yeah no problem! 2 stretches actually: 1. Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch 2. Half Kneeling Hamstring Stretch Try both of these for a bit, once your flexibility improves give the couch stretch another try. Let me know how it goes 👊
Skateboarders should pay a lot more attention to stretching, warm-up exercises or taking care of their bodies in general. Not pro skaters only but everyone. Unfortunately too many skateboarders are more into the dark side of skateboarding (promoted by many firms, mags and pro skaters) involving excessive use of drugs and alcohol. Good job BTW.
