Agree with everything you said about Renes family! Especially his sisters were so rude. No matter what you think about the show, the sincerity of the relationship etc you should still be able to behave yourself respectfully towards the person your child/brother brings home! The fact that neither Rene nor the parents were really holding his sisters accountable for their bad manners was such a red flag.

It really sucks. Because Rene got a really normal reception from her family. They were hesitant of thos strange process but still not making them feel uncomfortable for it and was welcoming.
Iris was stiff as a board in the presence of his family, I would be too. They were just hostile.
@@LAtttiful Agree. I finished the last batch of the UK episodes and there were so many examples of family members questioning the "experiment" and not really agreeing with the process but being supportive and polite at the same time.
Some people are just though or rought when they speak, like Mexico and Spain, for us mexicans the way they express themselves in Spain can be "rude" because it's very direct, here we might use euphemisms in ocasions, but it's just a diff culture. And it's the same for the north of Mexico and the center, in the north they are rougher in how they talk.
@devapeter1 I lived in Spain for almost a year, and I agree on the difference of cultures.

I think Fernanda just didn’t feel
like socializing that night and didn’t want to go, and probably the back reason is that she didn’t want to face the meeting of Gerardo and Mafer
@diditamuziuzitamdidi9814 But she mentioned Silvia... that's what I thought it was odd. I love how she said, "I'm fine. I stayed home in pjs eating popsicles. " 😆 We all know it's better for a partner to stay home than to go to an event/party and be pouting in a bad mood the whole time.
@@denisespieces4744 it seems there was tension between her and Silvia but I can reassure you that it was not something specificifically brought to our attention. Maybe we will find out soon.
With all Rene's piercings, he might be a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon 😅

I really DISLIKE Karen s personality. Some people think that verbal diarrhea equals being straighforward, strong character...really?🤣 Nope.

It may be a cultural norm in Mexico, but marrying someone who has a child is complex. It’s not as simple as getting along with a child, you need to know the entire background, a relationship between the ex and your future spouse, ex and the child. There is no way to figure all out in 3 weeks in my opinion.
@sfyoko Agree! I wouldn't be able to marry someone my kid had JUST met. In Brazil, a lot of the cast had children. One couple (Jarbas & Bianca), the little girl's mom, even made an appearance and was supportive of them.
@@denisespieces4744 I only watched the first season of Brazil. I just didn’t understand what they were saying, their thought processes, behaviors, etc and couldn’t get into it. Also I hate tattoos and visually, it was too disturbing for me
@sfyoko It's so funny that you mentioned the tattoos! When I watched the 1st season, I was SO surprised by how many cast members were covered in tattoos. Growing up in Brazil, tattoos weren't that common, and if you had some, you were basically a rebel and the black sheep of the family. 🙋🏻♀️😅 It was interesting to see how much it's part of the culture now.

No way Karen and Fernando are a match. He is non-commital about everything (read F boy energy) she stirs up drama everwhereand gets super jealous. That isnt going to work with the ethical nonmonogamy shr claims she wants
