This is one the MOST HILARIOUS live cuts I’ve ever seen on British politics. Thank you for being consistently funnier than any comedy show. 😂😂😂😂
UK is a lot safer place than America
This is very special indeed.
Because nothing says change like a Prime Minister from 8 years ago!
Yep! Vote reform!
Vote Reform.
Come on racist replies 😍
I think when they say change, they mean change back to their prime, not change to something new.
Vote revolt
I love how the spontaneous response from journalists is laughter and making fun of his weight. The amount of respect British people have for this government has plummeted through the earth's crust.
After Johnson's hair-do what do you expect ?
Unprofessional immature journalists! How about that?
If that was a woman walking in and a male mentioned her weight. He would be ripped to shreds.
That was Kay Burley making that comment. She's a vile person and that comment was completely unnecessary, especially in that setting. There's a lot you can criticise Cameron for without having to resort to cheap shots about his weight.
I agree with you about the respect we have for this government. The line is literally on the floor on how low they can go and they just keep digging.
It's always been that way.
Sounded so much like a dramatic WWE entry, "Its DAVID CAMERON!!!"
Yeah 😂
So true it was like the Royal Rumble. Should have been a countdown and when he got out of the car, that song he used to hum, the evil conservative theme, blasting out on speakers, whilst he was walking to number 10. would have been awesome
@@jamesarnold7253 "No chance" 😂

I wonder if Cameron will complete his character arc by returning the UK to the EU. Maybe they will even appoint him Prime Minister. Except since he's unelected he would just be Prime.
Nothing to stop Peers serving as PM, other than convention
Just like the interregnum… Sorry lads. All got a bit out of hand for a little while. Shall we just forget it all and put a toff back in charge?
Never stopped the Tories before.
plenty of tory peers being PM. But doesn't he have to be clean without scandals in his past?
@@ThatGuy-he6lcYep it's a modern convention as well. As you say nothing to stop a PM serving in the House of Lords.
Imagine drinking your tea out walks Cameron out of the car thinking it’s 2015 again
😂
They thawed him out of the icicle he was in since 2016
I wish I could go back to 2015, or even better 2010.
the reaction is priceless.
***Glass shatters*** “Bye Gawd, that’s David Cameron’s entrance music!!!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
**Cameron smashes through and enters** "Am I pleased to see you, or is that a canoe in my pocket?!!"
The comeback of Cameron is like the return of Palpatine---it means Disney has nothing else to offer.
"Somehow Cameron returned " 😂
@@Salah-fq2wi How are these comments so funny?
Sky said "What the h..."
Weirdest episode of the Masked Singer I've ever seen.
😂😂👌👍
"And put on weight!" 😂😂😂😂 You brits are hilarious!!
That bit shocked me. If they said that about a woman they'd have been DESTROYED. Regardless of hating Cameron I don't really think it's an appropriate comment, but then again sky news isn't a bastion of integrity and closest we have to fox news
I forgot the name of that female reporter but she has always been very classless
Can wait for Jonathan Pies take on this 😂 comedy gold.
Indeed. Must Google Jonathan Pies. (Note to self btw) 😂❤
There has to be a motive as to why Cameron has been given this job. It’s hard to believe that a new minister could not be appointed from acting MPs.
I think a huge part is to overshadow the Cruella drama. Who cares about old Sue when big Dave’s back?
If Sunak cant see the reopening of the festering sore that is Greensill he is even more removed from reality than i thought. Not just Camerons involvement but the whole bahaviour of the company leading to its dissolution.
@@Jonpoo1 Think this. Have heard almost nothing about Sue today. It's been Cameron all day long.
They all refused. Preparing their CVs for future employment.
If these were normal times, I'd say it's simply because there are no acting Tory MPs who are up to the job. But an era in which Patel can be Home Secretary, Raab can be Foreign Secretary, Hancock can be Health Secretary and Truss can be... I can hardly even say it... Prime Minister, is about as far from normal as it's possible to get.
It’s like seeing an old Dr Who come back
It's like a watching Marvel cameo that no one expected or wished for.
To be honest I applaud those journalists self restraint and composure .... I thought I was seeing and hearing things when it came up on the news about his return
They sounded like they just opened a gift box on Christmas morning. 😀
A gift box they didn’t like 😂😂
It is not unheard of
Lord Home became FS under Heath in 1970 having previously served as PM from 63-64 - but it is rare
SENIOR TORY: "I have a proposal for you, Prime Minister."
PRIME MINISTER: "Alright, Senior Tory. What is it?"
SENIOR TORY: "I think we should bring Cameroon back into the cabinet."
PRIME MINISTER: "Cameroon? That's an interesting suggestion, Senior Tory. But he's not an MP anymore."
SENIOR TORY: "I know, Prime Minister. But we could always make him a LORD."
PRIME MINISTER: "Make him a Lord? That's a bit unorthodox, isn't it?"
SENIOR TORY: "Well, it's not exactly unheard of, Prime Minister. It was done back in 1970."
PRIME MINISTER: "1970? That's quite a long time ago, Senior Tory."
SENIOR TORY: "I know, Prime Minister. But I think we can get away with it if we're careful."
PRIME MINISTER: "I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that, Senior Tory."
SENIOR TORY: "But Prime Minister, we can't just leave Cameroon out of the cabinet. He's a valuable asset to our team."
PRIME MINISTER: "I suppose you're right, Senior Tory. Alright, let's give him a call on the secret mobile."
SENIOR TORY: "Excellent, Prime Minister. I'm sure he'll be very grateful."
PRIME MINISTER: "I hope so. Now, let's get another coffee."
Dirty Den came back from the dead.
FS seems to be the most reasonable slot for a former PM in government. Done in Sweden as well, Carl Bildt was (PM 91-94, and FS 06-14.
@@GustavSvard The international role seems to require less scrutiny as it is felt to be the prerogative of the Executive, like how the President of the United States of America is America's chief diplomat.
@@localreviewking134 This is disingenuous too. It has been done as recently as 14 years ago.
Sky News reaction was too funny.
dAviDdd CAmEr0N!??
Sunak is really scraping the bottom of the barrel bringing Cameron back...😂
Sumak is the barrel!!!
Personally disagree, more like fishing out ghouls from a bottomless abyss.
@@leftjab276nah,he’s cleaning the sewer to recycle.
Tbh I am a Labour voter but personally David Cameron is a better alternative to what we have had especially compared to Johnson Liz Truss and definitely Suella Braverman lol
They have scraped the barrel. They are now through the barrel and digging through the soil underneath
IF THIS DOES NOT SUM UP THE TORIES NOTHING DOES THE DISDAIN THEY HOLD FOR THE PUBLIC IS BEYOND BELIEF
Totally agree 💯! It’s disgusting!
Breathtaking.
Love how the journalist claims, "oh yh, there have been stories the last few days", pretending he's not entirely shocked or didn't know.
Nothing says change like the man that brought us into this mess
LOL THEIR REACTION WAS FUNNY!! 😂😂😂😂
Dodgy Dave is back. Sunak is living in an alternate reality if he thinks this will win a general election 😂
Torys out!
We shall see. I am not hopeful but if he can turn the situation around then maybe.
Notice how the door opens automatically if you're important enough but that one guy had to ring the bell 😂😂
‘put on weight’ 💀
“You're as beautiful as the day I lost you.” said no one about David Cameron.
I definitely say that, he's adorable 🤗 💕
Dennis Skinner kicked out of Commons for calling David Cameron "dodgy Dave" that was 7 years ago !
“Put on weight”. Political journalism at its finest.
Looks like a wrestler we haven't seen for a long time and suddenly appears in the Royal Rumble.
Seems like the UK and my US are in a contest for best self-parody.
GET THESE TYRANTS OUT
Tories out!
LOL!!!!! It's actually impressive how incompetent utterly shameless this party is!!
It’s like an EastEnders or Doctor Who old character dramatically returning 😂😂.
Put on weight ? Imagine if a male journalist had said that about a woman.
How can an unelected robot, that resigned in disgrace, be in government. It stinks.
Some rumors said that Cameron was given a peerage making him a member of the House of Lords. While the norm is that cabinet-level secretaries are chosen from the House of Commons, the PM can choose one from the House of Lords...
@@theotherohlourdespadua1131 yes, they have every eventuality covered.
Would you say that your definition of disgrace is a bit harsh?
Hardly disgrace. The guy fell on his sword after losing a war. A disappointment but probably a decent thing to do. Glad he's back, he can probably show these incompetents how to run a government.
Because theres a precedent for it, Lord Mandelson and Lord Adonis under the Gordon Brown Government were also "unelected" Lords and yet served.
So you need a guy who is to do an important job, there's a guy who had a VERY important job, couldn't hack it and quit, and he's perfect for the job? 😂
It's unreal.
The guy who had a very important job, set up an EU referendum just to shut up the rebellious wing of his party, and then when results didn't go as expected, up and f*cking vanished leaving a monumental mess called Brexit for others to deal with
Tbf it's a different role and he lost the weight, so maybe he has some potential to change things.
Also Remain is better because stronger together, anything else is a flex and ego stroking.
Hypothetically I don't see that as a bad thing. You're paying lower tier salary to employ someone who has been able to operate at the very top and understands all the problems with that position. Doesn't seem like a bad hire to me
The government is like me on Netflix...can't make my mind up
its like your watching season 5 of a show and a character the "killed off" in season 1 returns
Digging up Maggie Thatcher next!! 🤭🤭
Did they really just say “put on weight”?? What is this?? Sky news or Hear magazine??
What's putting on weight got to do with legitimate criticism?
It's acceptable to say as long as it's not a woman, you see.
who's next? Boris Johnson?
Wait for it, Blair will make a return as a conservative.
Bring back Boris!
This bizarrely seems like the perpetrator returning to the scene of the crime!
Our UK politics has gone bonkers, how do you move from being Prime Minister Cameron to a serious demotion of Foreign Secretary Cameron 😂 he must be really broke
UK *Tory politics has gone bonkers.
Apparently he has wanted this position for a while
He's not even an Mp, they had to make him a Lord last night. The last time this happened was with the Foreign Secretary during the Falklands war who resigned.
I wouldnt mind if my old employer asks if the job is interesting and pay is decent.. Title isn't main requirement to me..
@@hamzanocap In 2021 Johnson made Malcolm Offord a life peer so he could be appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Scotland. Offord had finished fifth where he stood for election that year. He couldnt even make it as a list MSP.
It was a WOW, what, how moment!!!!😂
The next season of 'The United Kingdoomed' is going to be nuts.
Bit harsh mentioning his weight
Speak as I find, I had the opportunity to visit number 10 downing street whilst David Cameron was PM. There were well over 150 guests invited from all over UK to celebrate the Covenant Fund which Cameron set up so that Banks could hand back monies they had illegally taken from people.
He gave a speech, no notes and he knew where everyone in that room was from and why they had been invited. There is more than just intelligence there, a genuine interest for people.
Bring him back as PM!
He's amazing, I'm so happy he's back
Great welcome for Cameron being laughed at as he was walking towards the door
The guy that created all the mess from the start.
Wouldnt be surprised if they brought back John Major next
Well done!! Dave is cut-out for FS job.
Thought he was Chelsea’s new signing, was like transfer deadline day 😂
Even Chelsea wouldn't sign an Old Etonian pighedfokka
UK your government has become a sitcom
"Put on weight..." oh, yes... the classic double standard. Imagine if someone said that about a female politician...
Put on weight? So disrespectful. Imagine someone saying that about mom, on national television.
Madness
All power hungry crooks
Is anyone else amazed by the automatically opening door at Number 10???
They always do. It only delays if the guard inside isn't watching the camera before they knock .
What are they thinking!!! Oh No!!
Shameless...I am not even English but this is ridiculous at all levels 😂😂
And like farting in the lift, bad on all levels too.
Indeed peeps ❤
So another slimy tory returns to their fold.
It's like we're stuck in a time loop, I bet he'll end up pm again. No thanks.
British comedy is alive and well.
Maybe he just left something behind the cupboard in the basement?
The man who set UK on the path of self-destruction and then vanished returns to the crime scene.
Dodgy Dave is back 🥲
There must also be a job for Jeffrey Archer, surely . What about the major and his soap box ?
Then they could always dig up Thatcher. 😄
With people resigning from the Conservative party might as well dig up Maggie thacher to help the skeleton crew😅
😂😂😂
Love the comment made on Goggle Box about David Cameron as he was shown walking in Downing Street.
" I know he reminds me of. He looks like a disappointing jacket patato that's just come out of the microwave" 🤣🤣🤣
If Matt Hancock sticks around he will be reappointed as well....
He’d join the House of Lords like Cameroon
Just shows how the government is so desperate 😂😅😅
The comeback of Cameron is like the return of ❤❤❤
It’s “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”. What a circus. Lord Retread after ruining the country in the most cowardly fashion.
So unprofessional of No 10 for not having played his entrance theme song ...
When your government is a total joke, you might as well laugh.
At least him and James cleverly won’t say homelessness is a lifestyle choice
It's not what you know, it's who you know.
No, it's not what you know nor who you know. It's what you know about who
There’s a phrase about deckchairs and the Titanic that springs to mind.
Now he’s back, will the Conservative Party go back to openly accepting donations from Russians, £2000,000 that we know of?
If you donate, then they don't have to ask the Russians.
They've got enough money
don't know I can support labour party
Literally bringing back Cameron as an unelected MP, responsible to no one. The Tories just keep making things worse
Agree with the sentiment but he's not an MP he's a cabinet minister
You mean like how Gordon Brown did with Lord Mandelson and Lord Adonis? Theres literally a precedent for this, you dont have to whine just because its the Tories doing it.
He is responsible to the Lords and his inferior in the the Commons takes questions there.
The news anchor making a comment about his weight...not cool. If you saud that about a woman there would be outrage
Let off kid
I will never miss the pmqs again bro 😂
These new recycling laws just go too far.
This is a disgrace, the utter brass of it..
They dont care what the public think anymore..
One prime minister no one voted for.
And another that is not a MP.
Unbelievable
They evidently do, also what do you mean exactly? They are the ones in Parliament elected by the people (The Prime-Minister is not elected.) and have a mandate for five years. They command a majority in the Parliament so they have the lay of the land. Simple, also as has been pointed out it has been done before as recently as 14 years ago.
Isnt that the guy who used to talk to a tree?
Sunak would bring back Thatcher if he could. 😅 It would be laughable if only him and the tory shambles weren't running the country.
No, Thatcher was Conservative
I would have a mental breakdown level of laughter if I was a journalist
I'm amazed she was allowed to say "put on weight", wouldn't it treated differently if it was being said about a woman?
Oh well that completes the madness
Disaster unfolding.
They should have played Gangsters Paradise as he got out of the car 😅
With the return of this man and his “wonderful relationship” with CCP, this will be a disaster to UK.
Well, the BBC reporter's guess was spot on!
I’m a bit tired? 😂😂😂😂😂 same here
Lord Carrington ❤
I'm hopping mad, what was Sunak thinking
