    Thanks for the thoroughness, and the details. Sometimes it's the little details that will make it or break it. I did my Sokoke up with your direction to the "T", and it is so smooth and conditioned now, keep doing what you do brother! Peace!

    I don't think I've ever seen such a good maintenance/adjustment video. Cheers.

    I strengthened the detent on my Sokoke the same way, it's perfect now, was a bit too light before. The scales I like the extra texture and grip for my sweaty hands. Just an awesome knife all around.

    The longer one goes on top . One is long , one is short . They started having the option of getting some longer screws for the titanium clips since one is long and one is short . So if og s don’t reach bottom one needs a long screw . The clips don’t sit right when they’re inset either but do on the top ones . Also , those two for $7 aluminum clips on Amazon work with the inset but need the under carriage of the clip thinned down with a Dremel wheel for better flex . It’s work but worth it in the end if a person likes tinkering with their knives . There’s ways to shade the aluminum

    Great video man this is a good knife I've used sandpaper for other things on my knives before but I've never thought to clean rough micarta good stuff

      Completely changed the feel and you can rough it back up with lower grit paper again too 👍

    Loved the video! Do you reckon you can get this micarta completely black without showing a tint/shade of the original color? And if yes, what exact product do you recommend? Love the micarta handle on the praxis

      I haven’t tried myself, but I’ve seen all black burlap Micarta before so it is possible. 👍

    It’s good to have a plastic pry tool to pop off those steel liners

    What's up J.D. what did you mean by if you switch to skiffs you can't flip anything? I just learned abt them was considering purchasing a few sets any info you could give me on the topic will be appreciated greatly. Thanks fam great content

    • @jd4edc
      @jd4edc  Год назад

      The track that the bearings are wearing in are happening on the steel liners. That’s all I was saying. If you’ve been flipping a lot for a long time the track might not line up.
