the camera shake seems kind of a gamey feature to add for the lav25. at the very least in the context for for much smaller caliber like the 7.62 Coaxial machine gun, The gunner is using a main sight that is not mounted directly on a gun but within the turret and the way he shoots the gun is not manually operating a machinegun but shooting it via remote hand controller, so recoil shouldn't be causing any noticeable shake in the gunners main sight. this is also taking into consideration gun stabilization, so the noticeable camera shake in the gunner sight just doesn't seem right.
The 1 Lumen range on Military search lights is usually 1000m. It will pick up anything reflective out to that range. To see anything in daytime color up to 125m. Max usable range is probably 400 to be able to pick out something mansized in the open.mostly due to the shadow that’s cast.
An issue with the FIA is it's nature as a guerilla AI force - no access to helicopters, underbarrel grenade launchers, among other (smaller) issues. The FIA wouldn't work as a randomized faction against the Soviets or Americans.
Not as a symmetrical mode, no. In certain gamemodes where the two sides have different objectives it could work though, if the superpower has a harder objective but better equipment to compensate, but conflict is too symmetrical
@floatingpyro2050 yeah you're right, FIA could work if they had some asymmetrical advantages like being able to spawn behind enemy lines or having intel on enemy troop movements. Their objective should not be to capture and hold points but to cause attrition to the enemy.

I think they even have BTRs. But not sure they actually have buildings like the US and USSR you could build attached to the faction. Nothing impossible to add though.
3:18 caracal, use the ural supply truck searchlight in 1.2.1. They fixed it in that version. It’s actually useable it is quite good. They need to copy it over into 1.3
I do think the trees can take some damage, so the first mortar round won't make them fall over, only the second will. I saw visual tree damage when you strafe them with a truck or something, they have visual damage on the bark.
One thing that reforger gets wildly wrong is weapons recoil and camera shake, if they changed it, ramped it up a bit, reforger would look and feel much better and the guns would have the powerful feeling that they lack
Three way fights would be great. If you played heroes and generals that was were some of the funnest matches. But the fia doesn’t have the same punching power as the majors. They should have a different objective like just dealing damage to both sides. Be a big inconvenience to the us and soviets

It seems they just changed how much damage a tree can take before it's destroyed. In this case, they changed it from 1 shot to 2 shots in proximity

Interested in the tree destruction as an arborist myself. Do they uproot? Or crack in half?

I think the difference is how you’re hitting the trees. Add a lot more rounds down range
