      Uh wrong. The profession has always been corrupt.
      Wrestlers are called “independent contractors” and Vince does that why…So he doesn’t have to pay health benefits or 401k. So now you have this contract that isn’t paying you much and no benefits and you ask to go to Japan to fight a little in between WWE to earn more and Vince says no…does that sound like an independent contractor to you?

      Today's wrestlers work less dates. Vince was forced to implement drug testing from a 3rd party.

    • @ronaldshank7589
      @ronaldshank7589 Месяц назад

      Remember the Steroid fiasco, from back in the Middle 1990s? Vince knew what was happening...and it is rumored (Surmised), that Terry Bollea
      (Hulk Hogan, Hollywood Hogan, Captain America), lied to the Authorities, in a Court of Law. If that is indeed true...then there's a lot that went on behind the scenes, that we didn't even know about.
      Until years later.

    • @jrcrit8843
      @jrcrit8843 22 часа назад +1

      Vince implemented a lot of changes due to the media firestorm of Benoit not long after Eddie’s death. Benoit’s case promoted several other deaths that occurred in recent years around that time. If Vince felt no responsibility, he wouldn’t have created/enforced a more dynamic drug testing program and as someone else mentioned, cut back on the number of days on the road. Chair shot rules and other moves were banned too after the fact. So yes, he was compelled to responsibility

    • @juanbotello1
      @juanbotello1 15 часов назад

      @@jrcrit8843 by responsibility? Or by pressure? The more media and government attention, the more likely he was forced to take action. If not for that, the wrestling industry would be the same as before.

      @@LetsgosteveSorry but Vince should take at least half the responsibility cause he overworked them too much with working 325 days a year in the 80s which is definitely too many days a year there should be a 225 days a year minimum & a 275 days a year maximum then they wouldn't take nearly as many uppers to keep up with a brutal schedule but the steroids was different that is the wrestlers choice not Vince but overall Vince is about 55% responsible
