- I can't really stand modern cartoons, but MY GOD Gravity Falls became one of my favorite shows in just a couple of episodes. Loved every single minute of it!
I don't think I ever skipped the intro while watching the episodes, that's how much I love this song!

Alex Hirsch didn't want more seasons because the show would lose its charm if it went on too long (think Simpsons).
I tottaly agree with ya, 40 episodes of the series makes it special, and if it kept on going forever it won't be as great as it is now.

I disagree. Just because a show goes on for too long doesnt take away from how great it was. Scrubs for example, the last 2 seasons were some of the worst TV i have ever seen, but its still one of my favorite shows for how great it was before those seasons.
In my opinion, a show that is as short as 2 seasons, while it may have its charm, is quickly forgotten. While Gravity falls is definitely going to remain one of my favorites, the fan base just wasnt tremendous enough to keep it in pop culture for very long.
Its their show, they can do as they like and i do respect your all's opinions, but personally i would have like more than 2 seasons.
I remember the first teaser I saw of Gravity Falls before it aired. I just sat and thought "oh this looks like it might be an ok show." I didn't think it would be this amazing'

To be honest, I thought I'd hate Gravity Falls when I saw a small trailer, when the characters weren't even introduced or anything just the voices and a video. I thought "this show looks dumb", I regret ever thinking that. *this show deserves over 1000 rewards for just existing*

I just finished watching Gravity Falls and I cried. Now it’s time to be obsessed with the show and rewatch all of it, then set all my wallpapers to Gravity Falls ones.
Same, gravity falls is the best show ever made.
Damn this dude is amazing. Most wouldn't understand, but trying to changing a pre existing piece of music without overstepping and changing what made it amazing is really hard to pull off. This dude's amazing.
When this show first came on in 2012, I had my doubts about how good it could be, and for the first few episodes, I thought I was right. But by the 4th or 5th episode, I was hooked. Best 4 years of my life spent! And it also introduced me to my new favorite show, Rick and Morty. So a double win.

Oh my gosh I love it! This brings back a lot of memories X3 I only watched about 10 episodes of Gravity Falls before the finale, but I loved every one of them. And then the finale absolutely blew me away!

I first year this not long after I finished the show for the first time, about 5 years ago. It blew my mind then and it just has again.
You also introduced me to CherryVioletS with those two amazing art pieces included of Wendy and Bill. I loved them so much that I set them to my phone home and lock screens respectively. Just today I looked at them and was trying to remember why I chose them as my backgrounds when I remembered this cover. I'm so glad I decided to go looking for it again, I still adore this cover.

lus its only like, two seasons, so it's not a very long series at all. it doesn't have much filler either, and the second season is full of surises. just finished watching it recently, its retty fucking good.

I first saw Gravity Falls when I was watching this youtuber called Vailskibum. When I heard the theme song,I went to check out a few episodes of it. But I heard of it a year after it ended.. I regret that.

Uggh. Ever since this show stopped, I have no idea what to binge watch. Nothing can ever fill the void left by GF. Ive tried the X Files, but after 9 seasons, the show started to get a little old. The only thing I could find on Netflix to come even CLOSE to this show was Sliders, which only turned out to be OK (Nothing like GF good). RIP GF :(
