Yeah, on a one big and one half-way big play each. I am hoping Wisener (sp?) and Gibson can be power-back ready soon. So far, Blue has found seams and cracks to slip thru. Good. But I'm hoping for a power-back that were provided before Sark arrived.
Money? The portal? It’s always been about money. Kids with HS talent try their damndest go to the best college that could help ease them into an NFL career via the draft which means multi million dollar contracts at the highest levels. The portal just eliminated proverbial “the middle man”.
People don't understand how much the transfer portal and NIL help Texas. To replace his players drafted by the NFL he got wide receivers from Alabama and Georgia. Let that sink in: Texas took a player who the previous year won a national championship. Texas will every season be able to reload with other teams' experienced talent through the portal.
Nice reach, texas did get AD Mitchell from Georgia, but he came home to Texas to be near his kid and gf. Bond left Alabama when Saban left. Sark recruited him as well. All the players Sark got from Bama was because he and his staff were there. Tex got a houston Cougar and an Oregon state rx, too, so the logic of your statement is off. Texas does have a great NIL, but so do a lot of others. Look down the road. There's more money flowing around A&M, too, and look at them. Tex is Def more calculating and decisive. That's why they aren't losing many, if any, games for the next few years.
They did it with one thing and one thing only …. Lots & lots & lots of MONEY !!!! 50K each lineman just to sign !!!! Then they make 6 -7 figures each year NOW !! Have TWO Million $ QB’ on campus !!! Funny to hear you guys talk recruiting & strategy ….it’s MONEY & MONEY alone
The same way Ohio State and Texas did!!! Open that checkbook and make sure recruits know you are willing to pay!!! Ohio State and Texas were the 2 schools who spent the most money to purchase a natty!!!!!! Then they were placed in the top ten due to money spent!!!!! Not only that, come to find out that Iowa had broken recruiting rules over the cade McNamara deal and all they got was a light slap in the wrist!!!! Rules for thee but not for me!!!!!
lazy take, if money could buy you success teams like texas a&m and colorado would be having more success right now. It takes so much to build a team, money is certainly important but let’s atleast be realistic because you are making yourself sound un intelligent

@@re8746as a lifelong skeptical Longhorns fan I'm confident Sark has brought us back to the forefront. He is doing all 4 major things needed to establish a championship team. Recruiting, developing talent, coaching ability on the field, and now using the transfer portal. We have so much talent everywhere and it's deep. We ran 140 plus yards on the road without our no.1, no.2 rbs! The fact we lost 11 players to the draft and we're still this talented gives me full confidence Sark will keep us elite for a while.
They ain't won nuthin' yet. Heck, Sark refuses to keep his team together for post-season play. I wonder when players will drop out after Game 2's and 'save themselves' for the transfers? After all, Sark has always lost QBs to injury at Texas. I think the whole 'who's the starter?' controversy is idiotic - "Just wait... QBs 3, 4 and 5 will get plenty of time because Sark doesn't get the best O-Line players? Those are the ones NOT drafted into the NFL, and it's THOSE players' QBs that get hurt." I'll wait for Sark TO PROVE his mettle. Lotsa talk... lotsa hat, NO CATTLE.

Sark is building a Beast in Austin using the Saban Blueprint. Hookem
I was saying where is Wingo? And then there he was👀Dude is a straight up stud out the gate. Lead rec yards week one, and lead rushing week two.

A lot of programs out there are breaking the bank to suck. Texas has a great program. They develop well and they identify great fits from the portal.

why Spin Ewers? what does that mean?
@OreoWaffles44 he spins the ball, he throws it all over the place. He spins it with ease

Thanks, so what you're saying is Texas is the one stop shop NFL factory (film, preparation, NIL and networking). Sounds like an amazing organization.

Been following Texas football since 1981. Don't build this program up yet. Texas has not done much over the last thirty years.
