Well, hang in traffic for a while and there is some body movement required to ensure no car snuck in a low visibility area. Drive 10 mph faster, and the visibility is not much of an issue. Drive 20 mph than everyone else and - what visibility issue?!

The Camaro is by far the best looking to me out of the Mustangs and Challengers

I have a Challenger 🐈 and a ‘18 SS m6. The challenger has the best “muscle car” look, the camaro has the best sport look. I have a c8 on order and I think it’s the best looking American car period, IMO
To your point, Ford has always made a big effort to cultivate a relationship with the enthusiasts and promote the Mustang where Chevy really hasn't.

facts. ford has cult mustang fans while chevy lives off the corvette. we are honestly lucky that the CTSV/ATSV (now the CT5V blackwing/CT4V blackwing) and camaro actually made it this far. its solely because they put in work in the streets but they get no promotion. this is also why the firebird died and also why the Holden transplants the G8/SS and GTO were complete failures

Great video, I had a 2010 Camaro 2SS, such great memories of that ride. Here's a tip that might help, I have the same issue with my seats in my G80 getting out. When you're getting out, put your left hand on the door sill and push up when getting out of the car. This way your not putting all your weight on the seats. Instead use your arm strength to push yourself slightly up and take the pressure off the seats. Enjoy that beast of a car!

Really good point about the speedometer skipping numbers. That would annoy the hell out of me.

What good would it do to advertise when they are very difficult to buy? I factory ordered mine last January and just took delivery in July. I read an article that they only built 20% of what they expected in 2023. At least it keeps the demand up because they are hard to come by. So much fun to drive. I don't miss my BMW at all. I agree that people that complain about the blind spots don't have their mirrors adjusted properly, but I will admit the backup camera is extremely valuable when backing out of a parking spot.
Man i had to come back and watch this again. I remember us talking about how we both sold our 2ss at same time and we enjoying our trucks. I didnt know yours was a manual like mines too. Man that was one of the things i hate too man the speedometer jumping mph instead of the video game feeling like the mopars counting every digit

The rev-match defaults to off to keep a cold engine from revving too high. You should enable rev-match after the car has warmed up. I just picked up a '23 2SS 1LE W/6 speed. I love it.

Nice video. I have an order in for the 2023 2ss 1LE keeping my fingers crossed it will get picked up at the factory and built. I am 6’2 265 and I agree it’s a little tight side to side for bigger people like my dads C8.

It got built and I got it June 24th. I had lost a few pounds and am. I’m down to 234. It is a more comfortable fit but the seat does hug you. It took about 10 months to get it from order to delivery. Shipping took about 2 months with it just sitting waiting to ship. The car is awesome worth the wait. I am so happy I got it as rapid blue went away in 2024. Now just holding off on upgrades until I get some miles on the engine only have 220 miles on it.
Great video, just saw it today, delayed response (7 months late). 18 SS 1LE here - absolutely love the car, I store my phone in the door pocket near the back of the door, it looks thin but it holds my phone very good. Another option is to get one of those seat pockets that go between the seat and center console, picked up one of those for cheap. Whenever I need to connect the phone to the car with the cable (android auto), I drop my phone into that

Hey you ever notice a chirp or squeal while driving due to the afm valves? My car makes a squeal when going from v4 to v8 mode, seems to be a issue for most ppl, just trying to collect info before my service with Chevy
My car is a manual, so it doesn’t switch between v4 or v8

No, it doesn’t. I actually have a lot of legroom. It’s the headroom that is the issue.
I bought a 2022 2ss and I didn't want those seats because I am wide. And I didn't like the manual and got the 10 speed automatic.
Yes these seats are very narrow. I struggle to fit in them a tad bit. I love the manual SO much fun but the 10spd quick no joke
You can always add something to hold your phone or mount it.
Yeah there’s a few videos I seen with a solution but you hate to lose on the cupholders

I got you. Passenger seat reach around back there is a kangaroo pouch facing the rear seats. I stick it in there. Doesn’t move.

@@KickinItWithQ yeah use your right arm and reach around the seat. Hopefully there is still a pouch there. It’s there on mine. As long as you don’t have shoulder Mobility issues you should be good.
Low? Try my Cobra replica! The seat is less than a foot off the ground. It’s topless so that makes it a little easier.

Never really paid much attention to the speedo but valid point. I also agree with you on Chevys lack of advertising. I don't know what there problem is I think the SS Sedan suffered the same fate. Getting in and out of the car is an issue for sure. I'm 6'2 a little thinner than you but the struggle is real. I'm an older guy and I'm not really sure how long my knees are going to be able to take it. Big reason why I never bought the Vette, its worse. Once I'm in it I'm fine but getting out is a bit of a pain. FYI the Recaros are great for driving but they aren't doing you any favors when it comes to getting in and out. I'm starting to realize why I see bigger guys buying the Charger and Challenger.

just found out that depending on the year and trim, the SS-1LE can be a very rare car, the 2020 2SS-1le (I believe) under 500 were ever made.

I wanted the 1LE when it came out in 13 and a dealer had one coming in just exactly the way I wanted it, but it wasn't at the dealer and was due in about a week later, So I asked what can we do, but this dealer was an absolute moron and didn't offer to hold the car or sell it to me right then and I'd pick it up later or anything, totally clueless in selling me the car🤨So I went and got a 2SS/RS manual and didn't like it🤣 FML it had issues at 200 miles so I dumped it. This thing Rocks and Rolls🤘

There is a place for your phone. Right under the steering column. It slides right in. The steering wheel height must be raised all the way up.

You need to try a Dodge Challenger for Interior Room. It has a huge interior but in all honesty the whole car is Huge like a Barge. But I understand if you don’t like them. But if you are talking about the top 3 muscle cars. You would find that the Challengers have the most ROOM.

Yep night & day. I got a Challenger 🐈 and ‘18 camaro SS m6. At 6’1 I don’t feel cramped at all in the camaro but in the challenger it’s like a living room, lol. I’m selling my challenger though, got a c8 coming in a few months

Tired of seeing Challengers everywhere, even though rarely see a 🐈 but all trims look similar. My camaro will be paid off next yr & it’s a manual, I’ll miss that m6 more than I would that 707hp.

I'm 6ft7 and wide I cannot fit in a Camaro or most vetts I however have plenty room in my Challenger so I get what you're saying it would be nice if they would think about the bigger guys .

in my opinion the 2ss is the amazing Camaro a lot of people can afford I am not buying a zl1 when I can buy a corvette for around the same price, and if you want a supercharger you can just pay around 12k and you still paying less than the zl1

You should actually learn how to downshift yourself not saying the Rev match isn't useful because it is but downshifting yourself is actually fun and knowledgeable.
