This week, we have an exclusive for you. Newslaundry analysed the debates of six prominent TV news anchors and collated data on the themes of their primetime shows in the run up to the Lok Sabha election.
No surprises, as per the data, the anchors spent most of their time bashing the opposition and praising the dear leader. Amid this, our usual suspects also managed to accommodate Hindu-Muslim narratives.
Some anchors even had their own special tropes. We found Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami has a penchant for making personal remarks against Congress’s Rahul Gandhi, and Aaj Tak’s Sudhir Chaudhary doesn’t mind discussing “how it would be like to have an AI girlfriend” as primetime news. In all this, discussions on education, unemployment, and inflation remained missing.

I hope you remember this while doubling the farmers income is 10 years sounds very nice but you have to add the factor of inflation because few things have gone beyond 2.5 Times so even if the salary got double it wouldn't be enough actually the salary is only gone up by 20 to 30 don't know about the farmers

I am an IITian research scholar. What I am saying will not be felt by non-reseachers, but you have to listen us !
Our country is about to be the most populous, but our science and technology is way too behind other countries like china, Israel, US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, etc.
Infact, our best research institute doesn't even come under top 200 Universities.
People are doing so advanced work and we Indian researchers are at least 10 years backward compared to above mentioned countries.
