- Welcome back to Talking Dragon Age, the show where I talk about Dragon Age. We're discussing how the Qunari - specifically the Antaam - are being manipulated by someone high up in their chain of command.

Personally, I'm hoping to see Sten reuniting with the Warden in the next game... Also, I'd like to see more wholesome Warden/Morrigan family stuff. Inquisition made my heart melt with that content!
You and me both
Unlikely but it would be awesome
And with the time skip, Kieran may be an adult.
They’ll never bring back our wardens. Too many new players and too few remaining original writers.
Makes a lot of sense, and I pray you're right here. I can totally see Rasaan being Sten's deceptive advisor, and adapting traits that aren't very Qun'esque due to her missions and travels, traits like ambition, egoism and such. It would be interesting if in DA4 we could either expose her plans to the Triumvirate or let her do whatever she wants with the Qunari, a sort of choice like the one with Calpernia.
Swooping IS bad.
It is a tricky thing to do, to divide the Qunari like that. The Qunari are a massive force, almost unstoppable when they move as one, right? What if Solas' agents, posing as converts, have infiltrated the upper echelons of Qunari society in order to splinter them so that they and Tevinter no longer pose a threat when Solas makes his move?
Also a possibility
I kinda think the letter was sent as a CYA from the higher ups in the Qun after the plot was discovered. Viddasala intercepted it, and it's crumpled because she's angry her superiors are rolling her under the bus
I wonder If Sten Will be the Arishok even If we never recruited him in Orings and just left him in that cage
Also i love Rasaan her design is awesome and she is really interesting i Hope that she plays a big role in the next game.
I really liked Sten(ofcourse that "Sten", not a position in Qunari military), but nothing will justify genocide and total rejection of individual rights, and taking away ability to think on your own. If in DA4 we will get to confron him, he better have good points why I shouldn't kill him and bring justice to his totalitarian state and bring oblivion to his ideology. But still, great video, I am watching whole playlist, I just found your channel and I do not know why I did not foud it before.
Btw… something I noticed the other day…… a throw away line from Cole’s Banter with Iron Bull….CONFIRMS Qunari dragon blood!!
When Cole asks why he chose the name “iron bull”? He replies “you know.. horns.. bull… “
Then cole says “yes but they aren’t bull horns. They are dragon horns. Why didn’t you call yourself iron dragon?”
Cole… doesn’t lie… and he knows the true nature of everyone around him.
He didn’t say “they look like dragon horns”. He says “they ARE dragon horns”
Cole doesn’t blurt out nuanced things… his dialogue can be vague and chaotic… and poetic….but it’s always truth. And he was in a coherent mode when he said that. We was not channeling iron bulls thoughts and feelings… he was just stating the blatant facts of iron bulls nature and self .
So… I get that a writer… if they wanted to change this … and say “oh he meant something else and we aren’t doing the Qunari in that direction”
They could
But …. Until they do…
That right there is “Qunari have dragon blood” confirmed
Makes me wonder if the issue with the Viddasala and Dragon's Breath is the Qunari version of 'plausible deniability.' if so, it's very European of them (hey, if it works, we meant you to do it; if it doesn't, we don't know you)
I liked how you break down the tactics. It makes sense, given they appear to be splitting their forces ineffectually, that something else could be going on.
Oh, in DAD, if given the option, I will strike back. I'm not too fond of the Qun.
Might sound weird but in dragon age 2 I wanted to join the qun
Same
Given what we know about it overall after 2, I can say confidently that is not somehting I'd want to be part of.
Ok Cole the video is great but i feel like there is something lost when there is no music, just my opinion but some music is always great.
Keep it up love your content!
Yes,yes and YES i did not even watch the video to the end but i am down af
Do you think that Strife and his friend are actually Dalish though?
His shapeshifter friend, yeah. Strife was born in Starkhaven, allegedly. I really *hope* he's nothing more than that.
I hope that they're Dalish, I'm tired of every answer being elves...
So the ones who go against the Qun are Tal-Vashoth? Right?
I have to be honest, after replaying all the Dragon age games back to back, I honestly lost all interest to the Qun and Qunari thanks to DAI.
Why won't the warden return just get the one from the trailer and make a few new ones for the other origins and genders and give 2 voice actors
So you mean I having a perfect Dalish world state is essential if your speculation is correct? Great.
