The VHR on the G37 doesn't burn oil it was the DE on the G35's and also VHR's can take 15-17 pounds of boost on a stock engine or 700WHP and 500WTQ safely passing that you’ll blow up the engine if you don’t forged the internals
I’m about to hit 240k as well on my g35! Got mine at 129k and this march will be 7 years of driving. I never ever thought id have a car this long especially since it already had high miles when i bought it to begin with. The body is definitely showing its age but everything still works and drives as good as the day i brought it home. Thankful thats its never failed me once over the years and even when it was broken it still got me around
I sold my 08 G37 Coupe to get a 06 Z with VHR swap.....I have 3 Z's in my driveway.... And one G35 Sedan left.....8 Infiniti/Nissans products in my driveway.....VHRs I have don't burn oil. My Infiniti M45 is the only one I have burning through Oil
The only wrong thing is the “finding a good clean one for $5-$6k” you won’t find that anywhere, most clean ones go for 10-12k. You can’t even find a clean g35 for that price man lmaoo
@@DailyGold6 where I live from it’s hard to find a clean title and low mileage, and most of them are above $10k and if they manual they even more expensive
I don’t care what nobody says. I agree I do like the G’s

VHR’s still burn oil but just not as bad as the DE’s, and I’m sorry but vq motors with stock internals won’t last long at 700whp😭
I have a vhr In my q70 at 90k and it doesn't burn a drop of oil never has
