I would spend my life listening to this song over and over again without ever getting tired: his voice, his mastery to play the guitar, the drums hit, keyboardist and leading trumpeters up the pace ... a whole magic of music! Thanks Gary from where you are!
Gary Moore was such a tallented and incredible guitarist/musician/singer. This is the song that I first heard of Gary Moore. Gary had such great tone and played every note with feel and passion. He's sorely missed....
R.I.P. Gary, you will be missed.
Gary could really rock but his best playing came out when he dropped all his walls and let his inner pain flow through whatever guitar was in his hands. This guy is highly underrated! What a blessing he was and so sad that he is gone. God bless you, Gary. RIP!
What a shock to learn of Gary's passing. I've been a fan of his since "Corridors of Power" back in '83 (thanks to Keith for playing that album for me) and have been looking forward to his releases ever since. When he recorded this album, it sounded like he was home at last (musically, anyway). For those who don't know, this is from the DVD "Live at the Montreux Jazz Festival". Amazing guitar player. RIP Gary. Best wishes to his son Jack and to his family past & present. Ernie C.
So much passion, so much heart left out there on the stage every single time, A humble beautifull Irish man with a talent like none other, taken from this earth way too soon ....A great loss to the world, RIP Gary Moore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is always the good ones that leave the musical planet to soon. Gary played so soulfull and with every inch of his being, he is so missed. Thanks for the high def video!
I sit here and listen to the track. So much living soul in it. Meanwhile, images from my life running through my head, that I can directly link to Gary's music and my tears run at the thought that he are no longer with us. His music gave me so much, has influenced me too. I feel at the moment the loss of a dear brother. I have lost many brothers and sisters. It makes my heart heavy. But am also grateful. Especially when I think what musical scrap our young people get offered. R.I.P. Gary
I'm only 15, but I've been Mr Moore's fan for a while now, he's a big influence for me when I play guitar... suppose to him this year for the first time, I was so excited, but now it's too late... and I don't really get why the best musicians leave... I use to listen all that pop and other music but I felt like it wasn't for me, that something was missing, found that missing part in blues, jazz and rock... R.I.P Gary Moore...
He was so incredible and deserving to have his name said along with the greatest. He was the master of the frets and knew every inch of a guitar and how to bring out the sound.
I had the joy of seeing this guy in a band called Skid Row, beleive it or not , in Glasgow, at a club called the Maryland... Awesome, and now my friends, he's gone... Life is such a precious, precarious gift.. Be careful, who knows, u could be, sorry, will be next...
so rarely do you see a live performance, that shows the passion and enthusiasm that Gary shows in all his live shows.....its simply amazing the heart and soul that he put into his music......RIP good sir \m/
rip i still listen to this song and cries because it reminds me of the consert here in norway when i was happy with my x and we kissed!!!! it's many years ago! sooooooo
you could take all the Malmsteen`s, Van Halen`s, Satriani`s, Vai`s and bonamassa`s and add 3 tons of pure talent and still not achieve the beautiful melodic and soulful playing of Gary Moore he was the finest
Dedicated to Pat Rooney who passed away to a much better place this year. You will always be remembered for your good and kind deeds and for your love of the best music. Rest in Peace my good friend and brother. Viv, Chris and niece Louise xxxx

The great thing about music is that nobody never die forever.....
It's strange to see/hear someone get that tone out of a Les Paul... amazing. I wish more musicians would play with that depth of feeling.
Miss you man. I wish I had the chance to see you playing that beautiful thing in person.
First time I heard this song! I melted, was inlove still with my ex-husband and loved another guy that turned me onto this song! Ex-husband died in 2018, other guy chose drugs over me!!! Gary and his Gibson will never die!!
I love how its emotional blues...but he shreds too, he can do whatever he likes!
That sustain, that string noise and clear sound at the same time, that slow and open vibrato... that's what his guitar liked from him
