We dripped the water up in Pennsylvania when it got REALLY cold… but my hubby says the houses up north have better insulation (in general) he thinks that might be part of the reason pipes freeze more here.

Oh, my goodness! I live in Utopia, which is about an hour and a half NW of San Antonio (an hour and a half from Helotes anyway). Let me know the next time you plan to go to the Tinsmith's Wife; maybe we can meet!
@@calculatedstitcher2482 I certainly can. I've only been once when I was headed to a women's retreat NW of SA, so ventured that way first. I'm glad I allotted plenty of time as I spent hours with all of Wendy's goodies. Looking to return this summer as I think I'm going to do Consider the Lilies with a silk conversion.
Jennifer, I live in Oregon and I flew to Texas to help a stitchy friend set up her craft room. She lives in Bulverde. We went to The Tinsmith’s Wife and talked to Wendy about framing. My friend took one of her pieces to Kerville framing and it is fabulous. I thought the cost was very comparable to Michael’s which I have not been happy with where I live. I would definitely recommend you go to Kerville Framing!

How beautiful such lovely stitching. I am also using the idea of stitching a project each day between Christmas and Epiphany. I don’t think I I am cut out for the quick turn around of projects I really like the idea of stitching the Prarie Santas on Havana with silks - brilliant 🥰
You did a great job on Parker’s 2022 ornament. I wouldn’t have any FFO’s without Vonna’s tutorials! I may be in the San Antonio are in the next couple of months and have the quilt shop in Kerrville and the Tinsmith’s wife in Comfort on my definite stops. You could be my little sister❣ And I have done exactly the same thing...moved something and panicked only to find elsewhere! I love those agua Ball jars! Never saw a hex shaped! That was a real find!! I LOVE that muffin tin! Wow! And I found the Hinzeit site with all 52 states. I emailed to you.
I am always talking to myself. My students make fun of me, but I tell them that it's the most intelligent conversation I'll have all day. They think that's hilarious...lol! I checked my email, but I didn't see it. I even checked my spam.

We have insulation, even the old houses. They used saw dust back in the day. Plus heating makes a big difference.
