Hi Sir, Great video, gave me a clear picture of what i should do for my investments but can you make an example of all equity portfolio for SWP as well?
Thank you for this excellent video, Very much informative and easy to understand. Could you suggest me which category of mutual funds would be appropriate to do a lumpsum investment and wait for a period of 5-6 years please...my risk appetite is medium to high.
Great Video. However, tax for money generated via SWP greater than 1.25L - is it on absolute value or just the profit part of SWP. Just thinking aloud !!
in the cashflow sheet , you are increasing the money taken out by inflation , however the returns are kept same . Shouldn't the return percentage also increase over time ?
Superb video! Would you also be able to help in vetting my MF portfolio, have just started, getting decent returns but a little unsure like many others would be. Thanks a lot.
Hi Udayan, how to stay in touch with you long term for a systematic knowledge transfer 😊 as in how do I sign up my family to discuss financial planning. ?!
SWP monthly might not work during years where markets are negative for longer periods. It will erode capital faster by selling more units. How about withdrawing once or twice in a year when markets are high
Sir can you make a video for housewife to give clarity whether we can invest oue small 2 to 3000 savings in mf. It would be grateful if you please answer this question
Suppose we have built a corpus of say 1cr via sip in equity mf/ a flexicap fund over 20 years and now wish to transfer the corpus to BAF to mitigate the risk associated with equity mf at say 60yeqrs age. How can one do that? And how does taxation work in this case? One can’t book the entire 1cr and invest in BAF at lump sunn coz that would mean paying 12.5lac LTCG. Please suggest how to go about in this scenario?
Dear Udayan I’m unable to register for 15 September as I can’t find ICIC net banking. I’m outside India I do not have UPI options Please let me know Thank you
My life changed too when I started doing this and putting money in stocks. The first few years it as really great, but this year I haven't felt like my portfolio is doing well. I have lost more than $40,000 from my portfolio the past four months, and it's now very worrisome.
The year has been really rough for everybody. But I've been able to cushion the effect though. Have you thought of using an investment advisor? They can make you good money especially during uncertain times like this.
Yes, I agree. I use a financial advisor too. Same person since 2020. I don't worry about whether the economy is going up or down or sideways. I always ride through.

10% annual step up is not visible as an option in many MF houses. I have tried in UTI, HSBC, etc. even registered with Groww but they said for external investments/MF we don't allow Step Up, so you need to create a new FOLIO with us. Please help get a resolution this problem. In UTI MF house, I could see an option for Step Up, but that says Increase by amount _______ but not by percentage ____________ .
Everything makes sense...the only thing that doesn't make sense is I don't wanna be rich at 60
This is the catch😅
Then work harder to achieve it earlier!!
Atleast be at 60...
Then don't waste your time
Great video.cleared most of doubts regarding SWP
Glad it was helpful! Thank you ☺️

Sir is it like first I need to do sip to create wealth first, then switch to SWP..Is that right ??
in the cashflow sheet , you are increasing the money taken out by inflation , however the returns are kept same . Shouldn't the return percentage also increase over time ?
I think 0.4 to 0.5 percent is the ideal amount for swp every month.
0.5% is quite high..it should be max 4% per year.

Why dont make the 7 calculators with realistic examples and market it bro 👊

That's why the lower withdrawal rate + runway to grow is important
What is view on ETF in rhe same way

Instead why not invest in a regular fund. And withdraw what you need. It’s solving a simple math problem. Also it’s a disaster if the NAV goes down.
SWP would be setup from a normal mutual fund (technical word is growth fund).
Hello sir, can u please manage portfolio for me
Can we get any coupons for registration as i already an subscribed to newletter from starting if possible it would be help

There is any taxation on SWP or there is any limit in withdrawing amount!!
Yes, swp is taxed. Shared how in the video. And there's no limit on withdrawal (you can keep withdrawing until you run out of money).
who edits your video?

Add the amount with your current amount in terms of percentage at the end of the year and remove or modify the existing sip
