First of all, thanks for sharing your nice work with us! I have a few questions: Is it skateboard wheels that you make the spools out of? How have you made or got hold of the white ring that holds the bobbin?
Contragulations for a simple but superb design and so very easily made. Truly a very worthwile post. contragulations again and all the very best to you.
Migueldeservantes I will most certainly build your excellent toroid winder but will run the motor at a slower speed and so obtaian a neat job. After all i am not going to wind hundreds of toroids so what's the hurry. Congrtatulations again and again
Vivian Astridge Well the first motor was super slow.... to the point that was becoming very annoying that was the reason I change to the second one, "Be the way the second one "Have a two speed gear box" so in speed one is also annoyingly slow! but is very good with the thicker wire and give a much better presentation.
Vivian Astridge you should check this video at the minute 4 it show it working very slow! Toroidal Winder kit with downloadable part 4 winding two toroids!
Migueldeservantes thank you for your suggestion. Yes i did see that part where the machine was working at the speed i would run it. It works perfectly and it cannnot be faulted on any account. I would bever have t hought that such a complicated machine could be redesigned to sucy a beautifully67 simple madhine that could be made at home. Well done and congraqtulations again. I wish you the very best. Thank you for your excellent, working design but most important of all its total simplicity. You are definitey a most clever person.
The scale is 1:1 basically is to take a print and glue it to a piece of plywood and them cut the outline, I don't think that it can get any simpler! :-)
Hope you don't mind, would you please ask that question again? what instruments are your referring to? I mean, I manufacture the Winding machines... and wire my own winder counters.. but that is about it... so please elaborate and help me to understand you.
Yes I use the wrong motor, but it was the end of the day! and I just wanted to test the machine! later on I'll choose a more adequate motor! thanks for the comment!
Atte. Hermógenes
Well, Yes you are totally correct, but for a hobby machine it is hard to make extra parts.. keeping in mind that those accessories have to be made really small and really durable... so do you have a option or example of an simple cheap and easy to made slider?
But what do you need, the plans so you can make your own?? or you need the parts... or you need the machine already made and assembled??? (mac-s-power.com/HOBBY-ELECTRONICS_c2.htm)
