an alternative to the pomodoro method is the flow time method, and you can also use forest for this. basically, you just time yourself om a certain task until you're done. you track breaks and distractions so that you know what to fix and blah blah. forest has a stopwatch option and not just a timer! :) I use this and it helps me a lot because I also like to work until I'm done
