I want to thank you for giving me a new purpose in life. I spent a career in the USMC and was disabled due to an injury while deployed in the Middle East on my sixth combat tour. Due to my injuries I was unable to do a lot but decided to get into wood working as a therapy treatment. Your videos have taught me there is life outside the military. I enjoy making cabinets and such and getting better at it everyday. I save my money to buy new tools to help my new hobby. It’s nice to build something instead of destroying it. I am currently saving for a domino drill. I guess it’s a drill. Thanks again and keep making these videos. Love the humor also, makes it fun. Semper Fidelis.....
Thank you for your Service Richard! Please keep building and know that there is a lot of support out there for you. I served (Army) and have three sons that are currently serving and my fourth is a Veteran having completed his tour. Stay safe and let us know what our projects are!
this was so nice to read, really warmed my heart b/c they've inspired me and taught me alot, too, especially during convid, & he is so funny. And thank-you for your service! WE patriots are truly grateful.
The thing I enjoy most about your content is that you aren’t learning and “teaching” at the same time. It’s very apparent that this isn’t the first time you’ve built a hutch like this. Great stuff! 💪🏼
Loved the running commentary and quirky quips. I've been asked to build a bespoke 'upcycled' wooden TV cabinet and got great ideas from your video. Great job thanks.
I really enjoy your, “don’t get crazy or snobby” about the tools or techniques. Also the way you included the very convenient, very ugly, totally hidden pocket holes are great!
Wow, I was going to comment about your video and read Maj. M's comment and felt stupid about the things I complain or worry about. I did want to tell you that I appreciate your videos because you're teaching as you work and make this type of project seem doable to the garage woodworker. Keep up the good work!
I am a cabinet maker & do Custom finish/furniture. I just really like that little Mortiser ! It makes solid joints & cuts down production time! Keep using that domino machine!
I know there is nothing super difficult here but you make it look so easy. I'm just beginning my woodworking hobby and I can only hope to get to this level of craftsmanship one day.
I’m newer to woodworking and was trying to figure out the big deal in the domino jointer…after seeing the price of it I realized you’re a woodworking celebrity! Really enjoying your videos!
Great video man. I came across yours by searching for professional woodworking stuff after looking at reptile enclosures that were just horrendous. I wanted to build something for my girlfriends son’s bearded dragon but i’m a welder guy with no real wood experience. Your video gave me some great ideas to try for this project and I really think I want to give it a try now. I like the humor you added to the video along the way and enjoyed how well you put everything together. I’ll definitely be subscribing to see more!
Nice build and video. Something for everyone to complain about. Festool domino: You elitist jerk! Pocket holes: You lazy diy hack! No biscuits to keep top aligned: You incompetent fool! Well done, sir. Well done. 👍
if I were interested in doing this for myself.... besides oak, what are other types of wood that would be a good wood to build it with? I also want to say that I just love that you can be showing a serious craft with a tremendous sense of humor...I watch your videos for smiles and just to be awestruck by the items you make
I should have you build my tiny house base cabinet 😄. 2 pull out slide sides for Mason jars/cans, a under the sink cabinet door, and silverware drawer stacked on top of the pots and pans drawer and dish drawer. Followed by the stove cut out pan drawer and cabinet open for propane tank followed by a 2 teir slide out for the fridge on top and either an open drawer for snacks or the schetter bucket. With a butcher block top and a top mount sink.
For those watching this entire project with hopes of finishing their patio decor...........”wouldn’t last to long” Classic Jk..... great vid. Glad I found your channel. Beautiful piece. Glad U added the color finishing. The most nerve wrecking part 👍🏽🇺🇸
I don't hate that you have such cool tools, I just wish I could afford them myself. you have so many things I would love to have in my shop. circumstances don't allow though, so I get by with what I can afford.
As always, the tongue in cheek narration is amazing, and the result looks great (except for that black paint that ruins it a little bit imo, but you gotta satisfy the customer, right)
love this. I have not downloaded the plans yet, but the image on the first page of the plan looks different than this particular hutch. Is it the same?

Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels to watch.

I watch this channel for the dry, sometimes self effacing, yet hilarious comedy, and get a super bonus of great woodworking. Thanks for the vids man!
I enjoy watching this dudes videos. I enjoy his sense of humor.
I love that you use the domino! It's super smart of you. Who cares that people complain.
What, no knobs? 😜 Great vid!
Yes, there were 74 knobs downvoting the video (just in case, for translations sake... we Brits call dicks knobs)
@@mickjackson5680 Ah you crazy Brits with your lingo and funny words.
Loved the running commentary and quirky quips. I've been asked to build a bespoke 'upcycled' wooden TV cabinet and got great ideas from your video. Great job thanks.
Cool!! I love the contrast of black and neutral color/ stain.
I really enjoy your, “don’t get crazy or snobby” about the tools or techniques. Also the way you included the very convenient, very ugly, totally hidden pocket holes are great!
Love the humour! One of the reasons I've subscribed.
Sure, your skills and video quality played its part as well.
Gorgeous piece. It’s awesome watching people work who know 1000% more than I do about woodworking!
Your sense of humor makes me chuckle. Nice video love the format. Very instructive.
The black and natural finish is on point.

I honestly thought the cabinet was a real dark blue. Crazy how colors work. Awesome vid!
Best intro on RUclips. Fact!
The real important question is what is everything else* for - because its rather obvious beauty and mastery are the end goal of all things!
Damn, thats beautiful. I always learn from you videos. Thank you.

Love your videos and how you tackle your projects.
Wow that cabinet looks nice.
that white oak should last very long outdoors. it’s the preferred non-exotic wood for outdoor use. nice build and great video.
Nice craftsmanship and entertaining narration. Thanks.
I know there is nothing super difficult here but you make it look so easy. I'm just beginning my woodworking hobby and I can only hope to get to this level of craftsmanship one day.

Well done, well done indeed! I’m going to play my trumpet in the shop and see what happens... yes! New sub.
Love it! Awesome job. The contrast is so cool
Great video and cabinet. What method or tool would you have chosen for assembly if you didn’t have a domino?
very wonderful, it worked
best woodworker on youtube - awesome skills and funny too - keep making these videos 👍
Love the added sarcasm, makes watching all that more enjoyable haha
Simple, and elegant style, Justin. Una pregunta, senor. No cabinet door pulls?
Great classic and timeless build!
Do you have the link to the euro hinge jig please.
Nice build! I just finished a white oak library unit... I might have to make a companion piece like this. Good narration too! Thanks for sharing
