Thanks for the video! I love how you're babywearing, *bouncing* your baby, while cutting fabric 😂 I wear my baby (well, now toddler) on my back while sewing when she simply refuses to be put down but I just neeeed to be making something with my hands. Lol
Hello I was wondering how you liked using this fabric? I'm looking at making play dresses for my daughter. I would like something that will wash well with little ironing.
What happened to your sewing machine?? I have never heard of that valuable tip to cut linings on a selvage to not waste so much fabric. Genious! Do you have any other fabric/pattern saving tips to share? Here is a tip for you....have you ever tried pulling about 1/2 " of cording out of the end of your piping? It really makes a seam flatter when it doesnt have that thick cording in there.
That's genius! Thanks for sharing. Umm off the top of my head, I fold the selvedge egdes to meet when possible if I'm cutting out lots of things on the fold, saves fabric too. Thanks Janie :-)
Yupp actually children's corner has a pattern like that... it's basically this one with a smocking/inverted box pleat option. That pattern is called carol aprons, but its just lucy with a few more inches in the middle. Thats a good video topic actually. And ive got cc carol aprons in the works. Thanks jenny 💕
Jumping in- I’d also love to see how to do a pleated insert in a pattern like Lucy. I’m about to attempt this in the next week or two- fingers crossed!
This would have been a great video but you went way too fast. I think you should remake this and slow down. You talked way too fast too. Cute dresses though.

I love these! Could this pattern be altered to have a smocked inset?

So cute!
Where is the pattern please?
I’m having a very difficult time with side seams--fabric and linning
where are you getting lost?
