Agree Ryan... But it would be EVEN BETTER if she Let "Yours Truly" play House while she Rakes In The Dough! Besides, I can Cook, Bake & Coran too, and KITTY coulé Re-Open "DETERMINED NON-QUITTERS CAFE"!!! 😂 ❤
Welcome back, Kathleen Edwards. Oh how we’ve missed you. Been a fan since Back to Me. Hoping once things get back to normal there will be a tour date that brings you close by.
First time hearing this lovely woman, thanks to CBS News this morning. Beautiful and poignant tune...many of us have been keeping our options open...brought a tear to my eye!
Good grief. I’ve never heard of Kathleen before. I randomly heard this song on the radio (which I never listen to) and I was totally blown away by this song. I’ve watched this video about 10 times already. Really really really well done. This song is very impressive.
Damn I wanted to pre-order that Private Concert but I'll settle for a t-shirt and a piece of vinyl. Been a fan since Six O'Clock News and ain't gonna stop now.
Ah, this has made my year Been listening to her since her first album Still sounding wonderful and goddammit it’s fantastic she’s making amazing music again Xxx
Flowers cd came out two weeks after my kids mom walked out. Your music meant so much to me then, don't know why it just did. Heard this Option song today and hadda laugh. I'm 54 now and still 'Keepin my options open'! Love it .
I hope 92.5 The River in Boston keeps playing this. I discovered it a few weeks ago there, and have heard it a couple times each week. Sounds like a hit to me!
Yes! I love this song :) your voice is so beautiful to listen to and your lyrics always strike an emotional chord. So grateful that you decided to create again.
Your songwriting, voice, and person inspire me to keep going with my own music. They kept doing that even when you were 'off the charts'. I'm so glad you'll be back on them soon!
Oh thank the fucking heavens...she is back! Yeasssss! I know that she went through a lot over the last eight years (read that Rolling Stone article). But I'm a selfish asshole and have been waiting years for new music from her! I was lucky enough to have seen her in one of her last concerts, when she was still touring for "Voyageur"...and that was an experience I'll never forget. Welcome back Kathleen! I am glad you are doing better and cannot wait for your new album! ❤️👍👍✌️
Love the song, looking forward to the album. The bass seems a little thin though. Hope it´s a youtube bug, distorting the sound, or that it isn´t a completely finished mix.
For an articulate women, does she see what she’s saying about herself? “I hate myself, my career is important, I love the smell of booze and dirty venues, can’t grow up, please love me”
Been waiting (hoping) for an announcement like this for years. The world is a better place when Kathleen Edwards is making music.
Completely agree Ryan, I saw her live back in 2008 at small music venue in Bham. I believe Asking For Flowers had just come out. She Rocked the house!
😂 ❤
I just turned 40 this minute to this song! 😘

Amazing singer songwriter, love the storytelling songs!😁☺️
It's pretty rare that I really like a song the first time I hear it, and this is one of those times. Such a joy.

I've also never heard of Kathleen. I've been seeing everyone on Social Media praising this album.
Me too, on NPR, I heard it a few minutes ago. A good song because it captures you on your first exposure to it.
You still have it...the voice and the songwriting.
Damn I wanted to pre-order that Private Concert but I'll settle for a t-shirt and a piece of vinyl. Been a fan since Six O'Clock News and ain't gonna stop now.
