To be honest: I found the graphic in the very first Farming simulator was really good. I only knew it from videos here at RUclips, but the game looks for 2009 so realistic and smooth. And they're really successful with this game series.
Here’s how it went down (honestly) : .I got 2013 .so my friend got 2015 .that made me mad so I got 17 .that made him mad so he got 17 platinum edition .that made me mad so I got 19 .that made him mad so he stopped playing it
I started out with FS 13. When they changed the game engine for FS19 and courseplay didn't work so well with it, that destroyed the game for me. I doubt very seriously I will continue after FS19. Had a few good years and a lot of fun, but, sadly, it is coming to an end for me.
Just got a couple buddies into playing farming simulator 17 a few days ago, always been a fan the simulator series on PC, glad to be able to play them now on Xbox One. Looking forward to Microsoft Flight Sim finally making its first debut on Console. What? 20 some years coming?! Super stoked. Nice vid m8👌
I remember playing fs13 and when the trailer for fs15 came out I was in awe. The graphics, the crop animations, the mud, the logging I was so excited and it was on my Christmas list that year. Hate to say that since then no real major or groundbreaking improvements
We used to play this stuff in school on old ass computers years ago(someone brought to school a cd copy of if remember correctly fs 09) but I just recently got into these games myself and it's relaxing somehow to play them but god does it require a lot of knowledge to do all the stuff,for me the most difficult thing to understand was how to make all the hay,straw,bales and mixtures for cow food,watched at least 10 tutorials how to do it properly
you can really see that fs 19 got a new engine, fs 15, and fs 17 where graphical limited by their engine and so there wer almost no graphical improvements and mobile have gone a far way :)
Cameron Nalley it is technically a new engine, just like with call of duty they scrapped their old engine, giants even said that they scrapped their old engine and to add better lighting and graphical improvements, there is major steps forward with their graphics over the years and F19 is by far the best of the franchise now... when FS20-21 release when the PS5 and Xbox series X come available to the public, in a year or two they’ll then start making a new game with that improved engine and maybe add a bit more tweaks because of the new hardware and consoles... but for now they are focusing on more DLC and Bugs in/for FS19
Man, I remember most of this differently. Been with this game since FS09, and am currently playing FS19. I only jumped FS17 (and the mobile versions). I remember FS09 completely different.
15 IMO is still pretty underrated. I'm playing on it again after loggin close to 2,000 hours on FS17 (Along with modding/editing) And 1000 on FS13. Bcuz i never had FS15 on Steam I have no clue on how many True hrs i had! well over 2000 I can tell that.
With fs19 being a great game *in my opinion* and also fs17 I can’t wait to see what they do with fs21 🙂 Edit: also just to clarify, I’m aware we will have no new game this year as they are going to work on 19 for now but I’m talking about when/if it comes out in the future

@@Werfix1 well ya. Of course. The evolution is gonna keep going because people get bored and want more realism and more equipment and more things to do. But fs19 already has tons to do. I haven't even done half the things in it yet because I'm doing cows and silage and all that right now. The point that they keep going is it just sucks. But yea I believe they are still gonna come out with another until when.

If your looking for on of these for the switch, get the switch edition, 20, while newer, has poorer graphics and looks like a mobile game. Plus it's another 20 bucks

As far as I know, FS19 uses the same engine, but Giants just tried to get the most out of it. Can't tell if it's true or not, I don't quite remember.
