Apartment hunting in NYC - What $2000 will get you in Manhattan

@@ByJenni that is so crazy. I live in Hamburg and its much more expensive here than in other cities. IF you can find a place to live its expensive. But 2000 for one room is crazy

Yeah $2000 is definitely much for a studio apartment. What you pay for basically here is location and convenience. It can be done cheaper if you are willing to live together with other people

Try looking for apartments up town for 2000 u can get 2rooms/ living room and bathroom/kitchen

Yeah its amazing how much more you can get if you are willing to move a bit away from the city center. I might go check out more of Harlem and Washington Heights when things open up again. Thank you for the tip :)

I would do 3 grands if roomates is a possibility and available, and income opportunities and mob networks are also available. That does look decently old.

Roommates are definitely worth considering to save on rent. This video is from back in February so prices look s little bit different now due to covid :)

I think that’s going to be a challenge in NYC but maybe it’s possible now since prices have decreased. I would either look for a room in a shared apartment or look further away from central manhattan.

Yes, New York is just expensive, unfortunately! You pay for location and convenience so the more central the more expensive. Fortunately for renters prices are dropping due to covid so you can find pretty good prices in Manhattan right now. I recently did a video about that :)
