    Only for the construction site, much too slow and too expensive for mass scrap production but an impressive machine.

    Been running shears in the scrap recycling industry for 15 years. That is very impressive to see such thick steel get cut.

    @3:05, really smart how the operator keeps the tip just to say shut, so the metal drops down for a second bite without dropping to the floor. do these type of huge shears become less efficient when the cutting edges get nicked and blunted? Do they need replacing every week?

      Proper maintenance of the cutting blades is required for optimal performance.
      Blade rotation extends blade life and improves cutting. Shimming to maintain blade tolerances helps prevent jamming. How often the blades need to be replaced depends on factors including what material is being cut, how many hours per day/week the shear is operating, and how well the blades are maintained.

    here is frank from germany by the film you can see by min 3.36 thats metall is not cutting my english is not perfeckt it is demolishit by welding

      they probably shouldn't have filmed that one cut, but every other cut was made with the shear!!

      Das Video hat einer Zusammengeschnitten, der sich mit Software auskennt, aber nicht mit Metalverarbeitung und 10xl Hydraulik Schrottscheren... D.H.,wie moto scoot mesh schon schrieb, diese Sequenz bei 3.36 gehört nicht in die Präsentation am Ende des Videos zur Schnittleistung der Schrottschere, der Cutter hat die Brennschneidkante mit ins Video genommen, die zur Aufbereitung des Trägers für die Demonstration galt. Bei der MAterialstärke war der Träger vorher mit Sicherheit nicht bloß3m lang, wie hier für die Demo...

    Наглядно видно просчеты инженеров. Вся проблема в том что они металлолом видели только на картинке. Материалу некуда деться.Его сжимает. Маленькое окно для отрубленного материала. Вот поэтому вторую балку не смог прорубить с первого раза.
