    In the hand and on the wrist, you would be hard pressed to explain to me why this sub-$2,000 U.S. (new!) watch isn't a Breitling competitor. Aside from the fact that a comparable SuperOcean chronograph costs nearly three times as much money, the Hamilton easily could be considered the qualitative equal of those watches.
    Best,
    Tim

      Breitling, Oris, AP and Rolex themes all working extremely well together. The only thing off putting to me is the asymmetry of the orange sub dials but this is now on my radar!

      It's a nice looking watch. Great for casual. It's got a bit of that playfullnes you sometimes see with Omega, Like the Big blue or the bullhead. I like it.

    This was is SO underrated and under appreciated. The amount of details on this watch and the quality of craftsmanship at the price of $700 to $850 pre-owned makes this watch one if the best bang for buck. If you buy the metal bracelet for this it'll transform the watch completely.

    I have the black strap type. It looks more formal but I like it that way.

    I bought the chrono, incredible craftsmanship and feel for about 800 bucks, I cannot think of another watch at this price range with such a great movement and tasteful design. The case with skeletonized sides and the bright orange strap make this watch a standout.

    Tim! Nice video as usual.. I ended up buying this watch after your detailed review. Thanks for the overview. Great watch for the money. Sleeper in the watch world if you ask me. Try to get some more in as I have a few buddies that may be interested.

    Nice Tim. Hamilton is one of those names in horology that has gotten lost in all the brand hype in the past several years. I've even become a snob and hate that. Good job!

    Having a minute snapper for the chrono register at this price point is great and I cannot think of other watch with this feature in this price bracket. Not crazy about the pusher adjuster on a dive watch but it's nicely recessed and for that money I can't really complain.

      @@the1916companywatchreviews The model without the Chron is almost 1/2 the price! Really a great bargain.

    Beautiful and purposeful-looking sports watch with an amazing polished steel case but if you're thinking of buying note that it is quite (in fact very) bulky and heavy to wear. I've never got used to it, though I suppose others might.

    Pretty kinky timepiece. It have a very interesting looks with nice contrast coloured straps. Proven that good looking timepieces doesn't need to be pricy. Great work Tim.

    Tim, I've read that the watch strap is short on this model. Is a longer strap available?

    • @the1916companywatchreviews
      @the1916companywatchreviews  5 лет назад

      I'd need to check, but I didn't find that the strap here was notably short. I could have fit this watch to a much larger (17-18cm) wrist without effort. Most Swatch brands do offer multiple straps, and I'd be shocked if this one weren't the same case.
      Best,
      Tim
