Mahomes is a great quarterback so there's no need to rewrite his story. Ain't no actual way you're comparing Brady taking nobodies to the playoffs his last year with the Patriots to Mahomes playing with MVS, Hardman, Sky Moore,etc. He won 2 superbowls. One year he did it with a TE who is in the conversation of being the greatest of all time at his position and one of the best WR in the league, and the 2nd time he did it with the same great TE, a great offensive line,with solid number 2 receivers. Not to mention the running back they have. Nobody's arguing Mahomes has only won with stacked teams but please don't act like him playing without a WR his team walked away from voluntarily is him playing with minimum talent. It speaks to Mahomes' talent that he could win without Tyreek.
my only point to refute that is hill and kelce were good but weren’t great till mahomes became the starter, isn’t gronk considered the greatest te by most? wasn’t brady carried his first 3 championships by a kicker, a great defense, and a running game, the last two super bowls brady won was because of defense and a running game he really only won 2 because of his play and carried a subpar offense with lesser talent at the receiving position but it was mainly helped with a run game, gronk, and pretty good defense… where as mahomes had tyreek who played great in the first super bowl , trash in the second and they didn’t need him for the 3rd, kelce remained consistent, the defense wasn’t always great, and what running dominated for the chiefs in terms of running the ball for big plays that actually belongs to mahomes since they released hunt but saying mvs, hardman and sky moore, like they are world beaters is insane cause mvs and hardman are wildly inconsistent in terms of production juju and toney helped solidify that receiving core but kelce wasn’t in talks of being the best te to ever do it till mahomes and kelce been playing longer than a decade. the comparison to brady’s last season in new england was a terrible example i would’ve said the championship versus seattle is more comparable
@@topicxtermaine9596 I think you misunderstood what I was saying. My whole argument was that Mahomes isn't playing with nobodies. Nobody refutes that Brady got carried in some of his championships. I wasn't trying to say that either. When you addressed the comparison I pointed out, you agreed with everything I was saying. I didn't like how ole boy was trying to pretend MVs and company are just complete nobodies. I feel like whatever the development or how people saw Kelce and Hill back then their talent has been consistent. All I was saying is that he has had talent. Obviously he's not had a 2020 Buccs squad or a 2021 Rams squad.

Chiefs are not a dynasty yet, imo 3 rings is the standard, you have 3 rings you're a dynasty, if not you aren't, that simple imo. I don't see people calling the Big 3 Heat a dynasty despite the fact they made 4 finals because it's all about rings.

Brady got handed a ridulous defense and when he did have a ridiculous offense he didn't win any chips. He had Hernandez, Moss, Welker, Gronk, etc and didn't win anything. So we can't use the weapon excuse.
