Nick makes a great point I’ve always made myself. Making it to the championship game whether it’s NFL, NBA, or even MLB should be more of an accomplishment then the knock it is. Yes it shouldn’t count nearly as much to legacy as a ring obviously, but too much we make people who kept getting to championships but couldn’t always close sound worse then players who went less or never made it at all. Think about the Rodgers debate. People don’t truly knock him for not winning more rings. They knock him mostly for just never even making another one with his talent. It’s disappointing. If Rodgers made at least two more Superbowls but lost them, yes it would look bad, but it would look much better then it does right now. A lot of great players never even made it to the finals yet alone conference championships in their entire careers. It doesn’t enshrine you as much as the actual rings do, but it still makes you more memorable over time. Let’s be real. The only reason we all know who Jim Kelly is, is because of the 4 straight loses in SuperBowl. If he never made a single one nobody but Bills fans would even remember him or know he was a player in NFL. A silver medal is still a silver medal.

I also blame that loss on coaching obviously. The 2020 Super Bowl was the perfect storm. No other quarterback would have even made the Super Bowl with that offensive line. Despite that he lost one game the entire season until the Super Bowl. He was under pressure in every game and he was unbelievably great despite that. That cost us the Superbowl. That said he also did not help his tackles block at all no chip blocks, no tight ends staying to block, nothing. Even with all that Patrick Mahomes was running for his life on turf toe and after having a concussion two weeks earlier to the tune of 500 yards laterally, heaving balls without his feet set off platform and falling down and they landed directly in the receiver's hands twenty to fifty yards downfield and they dropped it every time. Wildes' argument doesn't make sense . . . people who don't finish marathons are equivalent to NBA teams who don't make the playoffs, and every team that does make the playoffs is a top 16 finisher. The comp that makes the most sense here is mountain climbing. . . Because both Mountain climbing and maneuvering through an NBA Season + playoffs takes a lot of endurance because you don't climb the mountain in 1 climbing session and depending on the mountain it could be over the span of a week to 2 weeks. And the comparison I'd make here is climbing Mountain Everest, so NBA non playoff teams can't even reserve the flight to Nepal, NBA playoff teams make it to the base of the mountain but don't go higher than a few thousand feet, and NBA Finals teams reach the top of the mountain. The reason I say NBA Finals teams make it to the top of the mountain and not just the Finals winner is because they both made it to the top of their conference. The NBA Finals Winner gets to plant their team flag on top of the mountain and take a selfie with the flag in it and the NBA Finals loser only gets to take a selfie while they're there w/o planting their team flag. Because both are highly impressive feats and the reason I say mountain climbing instead of a marathon is because you have to be the best team 4 games out of 4, 5, 6, or even 7 games for 3 rounds. Because I don't think that there's a marathon in a series format I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there's not a marathon is more of what NFL teams do because it's the best of one situation and anything ranging from a ball bouncing the wrong way to a person sleeping on the wrong side of the bed can wrongly impact how a game/marathon turns out.

Brady was not the driving force for his first couple Super Bowls. He was a game manager that was smart enough to not lose the game.
Brady’s 2nd SB performance was better than any Mahomes SB performance
SAY IT AGAIN. NOBODY GIVES THE PATS DEFENSE AND VINETARI NO CREDIT!!!
@@KingKratos79 yall literally just say anything on the internet. Vinstirri and the defense always got credit. What are you talking about?
So who was the driving force on offense, Antowain Smith? Kevin Faulk? Patrick Pass?
@@aaronjackson9385 We USED TO give those Pats TEAMS and coaching staff all the credit, but with round the clock sports media bs over the last 5 years, it’s always the QB and only the QB now. Cowherd doesn’t even say team names anymore, just this QB vs that QB. I’m so tired of it.
Is that Tom Green? He's got some good points 🤙🏼
Man, KC's success has been so good for Nick Wright's brand, lol
Chris 🔥 on Nick’s take.
Jalen should have gotten that Josh vote!!’
Love this show better than speak not your self 😂😂, Fruit take 😂😂😂 and always Disputed with skip clueless 😂😂😂😂😂. Nick Love you Mann .
“Neva losssT” is such a great call back to lavar ball 😂
Great discussion 👍
Imagine if Brou came out and shocked the world live by saying he was the Allen voter. Nick's face would be priceless. 😂🤣
😂😂😂
Lol lol 😂
God this show just keeps getting better!
Talking about Brees and a Breeze comes in lol
That was such a stupid analogy by Wildes at the end lol
The next episode bout to give down in history
big up nick the goat used to hate him but his knowledge goated
Nick Wright mumbling while Chris n Wilds talk lol is hilarious 😂.
The convo be like: Chris: Brady won several champio..
Nick under his breath: yeah he cuz was born in the NFL
I agree with Nick, whomever voted for Josh Allen is not fit to be in a position to vote on these things.
Broussard always leave out the fact that 6 of Brady's 7 rings should have been taken for the fact that he's been caught multiple times CHEATING. While all a black QB had to do was kneel for his entire career to be taken
Never lost!
Greatest sports show on TV, maybe ever. And it's even BETTER live in Arizona lol
I don't care about the GOAT conversation at the moment. I said the Chiefs were going to the SB this year and they did that. Scared me in the AFC Championship game, but they won that. So as much as I would love Hurts & the Eagles to get their moment, I am with Mahomes and the Chiefs all the way.💯
For Nick's sake, KC needs a W. lol
Chiefs Champs 🎉
At first, I couldn't stand Nick Wright. Now, I respect his enthusiasm and overall backing of the Chiefs. His takes make the whole show fun and very watchable.
You can tell nick has been waiting for moments like this all his life lol anyone who is great at arguing whether right or wrong love having an audience lol
I’ll be the first to congratulate Mahomes on winning his 2nd SB and SBMVP.
Ooohh, idk man. I got to that earlier too 😅
@@Mik3yLow we can both take credit! CHIEFS 😎
No Broussard, goats don't freakin CHEAT, like Brady has been caught multiple times doing, and getting clear away with it.
Nobody makes more sense than Nick Wright about Patrick Mahomes
how many clot shots you take?
Nick cares more about being first than being right
Right on… his analysis is more about him than about the sport or the players
His name is literally Nick (W)right!😂😂
Losing on the Biggest stage ....is Huge! You expect great players to Rise, ....the bigger the spotlight. Can't shrink, or melt down. Not if you're the best
so wouldn’t they win the Conference finals then lmaoo
@@rushbenjamin613 no, All eyes are on the Super Bowl. Like the difference from pre-season & regular season. Vets sometimes coast in pre or even reg .... can't meltdown on the biggest stage.
Why does nick look like tom green in this show?
It’s unfortunate that these shows make one side choose to just bring out the negatives about a quarterback who does it so right. Mahomes is humble and includes his team and coaches in every statement he makes. Mahomes is not arrogant and it’s really refreshing in these days of me me me, to see a great player who is about we and team! Go Mahomes!
Amen to that! You couldn’t have said it any better!!! Notice he also thanked the coaching staff and his teammates in his MVP speech last night. Not something you hear very often. He’s definitely a class act!
He better be humble he has nothing to be proud of, to mention he looks and sounds like a frog
i rllyyyy hope the Chiefs win so Nick can have a field day monday. This show is more fun when he’s not moping😂
Wildes is a treasure!
Oh is he good gollie 🤠💅💯
The GOAT is an individual award and the Super Bowl is a team result. Brou and Wildes need to understand this simple concept.
Nick's 100 percent correct in his statements about Mahomes
Love the show but this one I would have liked a little less screaming and talking over each other. It was entertaining but on the edge of irritating after awhile. I watch your show daily on RUclips and always enjoy. Love Wildes and Chris! Go Chiefs!
Mahomes will win this one!
Justin Jefferson should've gotten a vote before Allen
God I love this show. Need a moderator to give Wilds back his spot though
To be considered the GOAT you have to be 2 things, great and great for a significant amount of time, he has 1 box checked, time will tell if he has both.
You have to close the deal and win Superbowls too. Getting to a Superbowl is fantastic. But winning them is necessary if you want to be the GOAT.
Well he’s made the championship 5 seasons in a row. He’s always at most 1 game away. 5 seasons in a row. That’s insane. That is a significant amount of time. And so far. He’s won more then 50% of them and then he’s 50% in the Super Bowl. Doesn’t really get much better then that for a first 6 years
@@evangriffin9112 it's insane and still only a fraction of what Brady has done
@@evangriffin9112 Right & if his career ended after this year he would not be considered the GOAT, he still has a way to go.
@@RenR70 right I understand that I’m not saying he’s the goat but I’m saying it HAS been a significant mount of time that he’s been at this level. That he’s been the best player in the league. Not saying he’s goat and he won’t make every championship game but it Is worth consideration
Patrick Had PASSED UP TOM BRADYs records in some category’s: and in Only 5 years Compared to TBs’ Whole
Career!!!!
I'd do lightweight crime to see this show live.
Chiefsaholic, is that u???😂😂
Lol, is Nick gonna have this segment every time Mahomeboy win anything ?! 😂
Its like LBJ & Skip Bayless insanity and im here for all of it 🔥
If 2007 Brady didnt win unanimous MVP, no one can complain about it either !!!
Here's a better way to put it: two guys run two races each. Guy #1 finishes 1st in one race, 2nd in the other. Guy #2 finishes 1st in one race, and 7th in the other. Bru says guy #2 is better because he never finished 2nd.
Broussard the biggest MAHOMES HATER OUT THERE!! he always claims he's a Mahomes guy but NEVER SAY ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT HIM🤣🤣
Nice marathon analogy Wildes that completely diffused any point Nick thought he was making lol.
Actually it has irrelevant. The Olympic one is an exact match. I bet if Jordan was 6-6 in the finals they wouldn't be having this argument. Fun fact; Kobe lost to a Pistons team who didnt have a top 40 all time player on it. No one knocks him for it. Why? Because we recognize that getting there was an accomplishment too
Best sports show on tv!
