Nothing wrong with giving them a little more, especially with it being a church sale, kindness and generosity usually are contagious
I enjoyed this style with a mix of voiceover and live sound.
I think voicing over the garage sale videos makes them more interesting as you include your conversations with other people while also sharing what your thoughts were while you were pickin’
I used to have tons of those animal clings and put around my mirror in the 80’s! It’s cool you take your daughter with. She’ll remember that. I used to do garage sales with my dad.
When you do the voiceover, it gives a lot of context to what you are thinking about when you are considering picking an item or hesitate about picking an item that seems good. Or, you are just not sure. Keep it.
I like the voice over style. It worked well.
Dear Lord with all the good stuff and you're feeling the container with stuffed animals
I really like this video.
Say hello to your Mother, she would have liked this sale too .
Those ladies where so sweet to your daughter. It was nice to watch... That was cute when she said the oil in the schmutz On the sewing machine
Aww loved seeing you and your daughters content. She's so adorable❤ thanks for sharing
I had those clingy animals in the late 70s
Its so nice your kids are interested in your picking. My two boys never were, except when I found them something which I did at most of the sales I went to
loved the video was nice to see 1 ov ur children with you and you got some brilliant items . thankyou for sharing xxx
I used to have them pencil toppers in the 70s when i was growing up
Great fun! I would have gone back too...several times. That is my dream pickin type of sale. Haven't seen any like that here in SoCal.
Your daughter is a delight, David.
I love how you admit your human qualities such as being subject to peer pressure at sales. :) I experience guilt if I don't buy anything from a sale. Do you feel that way sometimes?
My dad has had that little raccoon on his radio antenna for years!!! I loved that yard sale!! Your daughter is so cute!
Good that your daughter likes yard sales too. Maybe she likes it enough to be a picker herself one day. 😊
I like the talk over.
Was great seeing the experience of your daughter coming long and her knowledge of what she really wanted VS grabbing everything. Smart girl
Family fun
👍😇❤
Dave, for future thoughts at 2:36 that large blue square box with hoses is an ice machine for knee surgery recovery.. I sold one overnight for $65.00 in the past on Ebay. Just so you know to look at for them!
I know this was awhile ago, but that knee icer was worth some money. It was blue with a hose type thing.
I have several hand held folding collapsible baskets in my car and they work great at yard sales and if I am not sure about something I just toss it in the baskets and that way no one else can snag it until I decide to buy or not buy.No feelings of regret witnessing someone pick up something I put back
Great sale love that you took Callie thanks for sharing
One of the things I've learned as I got better at reselling was to be picky when buying plush. There's good plush and then there's sit in your store for years at a low price plush.
I’ve sold that vintage Macy’s teddy bear with the purple sweater twice for $25 bucks. People always leave the tags on it too. Score!
Great job today, Dave. on your thrifting. Callie is so bright and beautiful. I apologize if her name is spelled incorrectly .
Thanks for going through each video , conversations ✌️🤩🤩👍
At 15:31 I would have grabbed that vintage cheese and cracker set.Tell your daughter her pants are totally cool!!!Love those colors together.
Great finds 👏 Way to go Calli !! Dave, there will always be stuff so don't beat yourself up. Love the videos and this format was 👍 ❤❤
Sing r sewing machine my mom had one so old sounded like a chop train starting up was awesome
I like the voice overs tells what you are thinking
Your daughter is so stinkin cute!!!! Love your channel!
Loved the voiceover it made your video very interesting! Don't tell the other resellers 🤣
I just found you. I enjoyed it very much. Bummer on missing out on the pencils
You walked past some ankle eights in a box. Not sure what they were selling them for but I sold those exact ones a while back for around $25. Ankle weights have always done well for me
Good content . Many good items and ROI potential Lots of good stuff left but no one gets it all. Well done.
I was using those hugger clips as money clips...
Definitely enjoyed this video ❤😊
Great video as always😊
The penial huggers we're a girly thing might explain why you don't remember them 😆
This Is How It Should be Done...Play x Play On Every Purchase Made...Great Upload..Cheers Mate 🍻
Love the voice over really cool.
Those little clip on plush you said was for clipping on pencils well kinda but no I had all those when I was a child I'm about to be 53 years old June 6th they are vintage lapel clip-ons I would like to of bought them from you the hole lot of them .
I’m 54 and had that koala! Lol. We wore them on our shirts, not our pencils. Lol!
@@get_a_flipping_life6079 right that's what I said to lol not pencils I would put mine on my dresses or my lapels or I'd clip them to my hair .
Do not let them toss the motor with the gold leaf!!!! If you get it fixed up. Those are very valuable machines, Singer Featherweight!
I don't think that was a Featherweight
I really like the voiceover. Great video!
I think you got distracted by your daughter when you were looking at the pencils. It happens.
Great video Dave
i enjoyed this one thank you
Yep i liked the commentary when u were by yourself unless something good happens. Great video. Your daughter is a doll.
I do like that style of video
wow 10$ for all !! Cheap! Nice pick
I do like the voice over. Really enjoyed this video.
You should invest in a wagon or a small cart
I want to say something snarky about ignoring your gut, but I'll control myself 🤣. Enjoyed the video!
I hate chruch sells in my area. Like double what items sell for on eBay.
Dude the singer sewing brings 20 to 30 dollars
I should of would of but I didn't look it up. Didn't have my phone got distracted thought the prices were going to be high but weren't I could of made an offer and got a better deal. listen to yourself..lol.better luck next time...
celebrity streamer discount !
Should have grabbed that singing bear by Chantily lace....they can go for up to $35 or more
I liked the voice over, maybe a mix of both
I like the mix of this cideo
Cawalla ice is good for arms and legs surgery goes 250 if it works
And then when you see someone else grab something you left behind, makes you second guess yourself and say, man I knew I should have grabbed that 😂 that guy grabbed the flags after you left them, I think 😂. At least that’s what goes thru my mind. Oh well, there’s enough for everyone right. Next time you see so many flags you’ll grab them. Live and learn. Nearly spit my water when you made me laugh about not getting the pencils and instead you got that ugly toy 😂
Oh. your little girl is soooo cute.
Wow 😮
I would like audio tapes
You now have the true Florida tan going now m 🙀
I stopped buying Plush. I used to buy them, and I did LOUSY selling them.
How I get these
New sub ! Liked 😊👍
Can you tell us why those pencils were valuable? What to look for?
Nothing really special they were common school and office pencil. People just like the old ones, because they are used to the drag of the leads. I sell mechanical pencils if I find the right ones.
Around 1970 Eagle changed its name to Berol and continued production of Mirado pencils. Berol was purchased by the Empire Pencil Company in 1987 but they continued to manufacture pencils under the Berol name into the 1990s. In the mid-1990s, Sanford bought numerous pencil companies including Empire/Berol and not long after the factory in Drummondville was closed.
so u go home, get Callie and go back to the same sale and still don't take ikea bags?
i was going to say that xx
Who is the guy in the blue and white shirt. He is like all over everything you are
Aku rs hg ni dh gila!
Can you garage sell with your shirt off?😂
Hello newbie watcher.
Got you from commonwealthpicker.
Enjoy your fun way of looking at items on your site.
Thanks for the entertainment
Bless you
Get a kick out of the church lady taking the money closes it up after every sale , i think you scare her .
The lady didn’t give you the 5.00 back on sewing machine didn’t you pay 20.00
@@FargoKnows ok
But the other items were 5 😊
Why the voice over. I like the live ones, makes it more interesting to hear what's going on.
"Why the voice over."
He literally answered that question 10 seconds into the video and again at the end.
I just don't understand why you don't comp things out at the sale. I have seen you do it before. Those pencils a quick comp and walla. I always comp what I don't know. Of course I live off the income I make from reselling so it has more of an importance of knowing...
I do it to annoy you ;) i actually comp tons of stuff, just didnt comp those
worst picker ever LOL
Wtf😂😂 clearly the bin was to hold stuff for sale and not for sale otherwise it would’ve been on the table.Jesus Christ
Man the voice over was so boring
I absolutely love your channel and have never criticised you,but you should have not dumped the stuff out of that plastic bin for your own use,as it wasn't yours.
You have disappointed me,
That was rude.
Dave in UK.🇬🇧
It was mine at the end since i purchased it
@@ADHDavePicks Dave Dave Dave, I don't know how you do it. You have the patience of a saint dealing with these types of mindless comments. LOL Great vid as always!
