Potting Up Arbor Day Tree Seedlings and Planting The LAST of the DAHLIAS 😊🌺🌸🌼

Today I'm potting up tree seedlings I got from the Arbor Day Foundation and planting the last of the dahlias! This year I planted over 60 dahlia plants which was a lot of work but I think it'll be worth it. My dahlia field consists of lots of varieties I picked up at big box stores, as well as some seedlings I grew from Select Seeds and Floret (Bee's Choice, Cancan Girls & Petite Florets). I got all the arbor day seedlings for a $10 donation and I did the same thing last year for the Eastern Redbuds I've planted around the property. In this video I pot up a Silver Maple, Pin Oak, Sugar Maple, and White Flowering Dogwood. I know I won't be able to keep these trees in pots forever probably without some root pruning, but I just love having the different leaf shapes on display, even if I can't have the big trees here. I'm sure I can find somewhere to give these trees some space to grow eventually even if it's not in my garden :)
