    Being a Fed fan all my life, when the video reached him I was so happy to see the stats, but then the video goes on and it reaches Djokovic and I saw his stats. Absolutely bonkers what Nole has been able to achieve in these 10+ years and his ability to dominate tennis for so long. Simply phenomenal. People might not like him always due to some of his antics and/or actions, but when you narrow it down to just playing tennis and competing, no one comes even close to him. Again, this comes from a passionate Federer fan. Congratulations Novak, you deserve it. Also, congrats Daniil, you earned it as well.

    • @Em4gdn1m
      @Em4gdn1m 2 года назад +5

      @@rohandua5515 Federer has the most single titles (Federer 103, Nadal 91, Djokovic 86) is the most well rounded on all surfaces, paved the way to 20 Grand Slams even being possible, has by far the best serve of the 3, and single handedly knocked off the old guards of tennis paving the way for his generation to dominate for the next 20 years. Was world #1 for a record 237 consecutive weeks, has won Wimbledon (the worlds biggest and most coveted prize of all a record 8 time, oldest ever #1, and the dude reached the finals in all 4 Grand Slams in 3 different years.
      Nadal: 21, enough said there. He is unarguably the most dominate player on any one surface ever period as he has a BONKERS 97% win percentage at Roland-Garros. Is the only one of the 3 to have an Olympic Gold medal for men's singles (he and Federer have one a piece in doubles as well, whereas Djokovic doesn't have one) Has the best record in Grand Slam Finals while also playing (in my opinion) the toughest competition in Grand Slam finals. And he is the BEST role model for kids to watch when it comes to temperment and mentality on the court. He came on the youngest, and giving this push to the start of the season, may not be done anytime really soon.
      Djokovic has the most weeks at number 1, has the calendar year grand slams, a record 7-time year-end world no. 1, the best defender of the three, and overall probably the best athlete of the 3.

      personally I don't think Nadal is weak on hard court. Grass may be but definitely not hard. To be honest, except Fed and Novak, no one can really beat him consistently on hard court. Even Medvedev now, 10 years younger, at his prime and current No.1, also strongest in hard court, still cannot do it. The fact that Nadal looks weak on hard court is only when you compare him with those two, otherwise no one is ever close to him. On the other hand, Nadal dominated Fed and Novak on clay for many years, and surely the winning percentage of Nadal vs those two on Clay (77%: 33-10) are higher than the losing percentage of him vs those two on hard court (70%: 14-33), so in general it's not that bad for Nadal. The main reason why he cannot have more weeks in No.1 is his injuries through out his career, which did limit his tournaments that he can play through the year, and you can not be No.1 if you don't play enough tournaments. That's why when comparing to Fed and Novak, the No.1 weeks of Rafa are really behind, why other stats are quite the same.

    Man, I gotta say, even as a Serbian I think Fed's prime/peak is the highest level of tennis I've ever seen. I'm in my 30's and remember watching Fed play live in the mid 2000s... I have yet to see someone surpass his level. Nadal is probably close on clay though.
    It's unfortunate that Fed is probably near retirement and that Djokovic and Nadal still have a few years left in them ---- unfortunately all the "new" and younger tennis fans (i.e. younger than 30 years old) will probably think of Djokovic and Nadal are a higher level of tennis than Fed, but they've never had the luxury of watching prime Fed play (watching old grainy RUclips videos doesn't count).

      @@dfdxdfdydfdz Djoker and fed have different play styles. Fed isn't even from the same era as Djoker and Nadal, statistics are no where near enough to justify the GOAT debate due to lots of outliers. Fed is the greatest attacker while Djoker is the greatest defender. Unfortunately, we'll never be able to see prime fed against prime Djoker. However, Fed handed Djoker their first bagel between each other in Cincinnati final 2012, a year after Djoker started his reign.

    Next, I'd like to know who recorded the most weeks at no. 1 in pre open era. Bill Tlden recorded 723 weeks of no.1, but some people said he just recorded 368 weeks below Rod Laver with 374 weeks. Maybe because ATP, men's double and mixed double are accumulated cuz he multiplied GS in double sectors as well, then it could be true that he has 723 weeks of no. 1

How can anyone consider you the best player in the world if you can't win even one of the biggest titles in the sport? On top of that, he only ever made one GS final and didn't even make it last the QFs in any other slam tournament in his career. Didn't deserve to be no.1 in my eyes. Literally got there through winning a bunch of smaller tournaments on a technicality.
