That will be more than USD14 trillion in regional economy. ASEAN will be one of the dominating economies in Asia. #WECanDoIT #ASEANCanDoIt #LoveFromSingapore
I have seen so many videos like this one. I have never seen any effort to reduce population of Philippines by the outgoing administration until now. Unless the country removes obstacles for foreign investment, investors will go to neighboring countries even though they are not much competitive than Philippines. Philippines must work hard on Renewable Energy projects to attract foreign investment. Hope the new administration will not repeat the mistakes of past administrations ad also make changes in the constitution that will attract more foreign investors into the Philippines 🇵🇭 Mabuhay 🇮🇳😎❤⚘
Government of the Philippines should promote more this plan. I bet most Filipino don't know this. I myself know this only 1-2 years ago. Government should put this in the streets or promote in social media to inspire Filipinos. Government needs its people.
Of all the asian countries, big economies like India and Indonesia are the Philippines' great supporters. The small ones, particularly the ASEAN members, tend to downplay the "improvement" of the Phils. Sad😔
Education should also play an big role in instilling and educating young Pinoys about the negative impact of corruption. Educating students about corruption in classrooms only revolve around select politicians like GMA and Erap and the Marcoses but the previous administration who declared this are they, themselves are the most corrupt. Also children view corruption as something normal since most politicians even at the Barangay level and goverment employees (some of them) at the lower tier of the employment get away with it. So expect when they start working in a goverment position, there will be some of those who'll still do the act. I understand that corruption in government can never be eradicated, but at least we could start by changing young Pinoys opinion about it.
Marcos never become a corrupt president they just change the history of philippines and manipulate Filipino also the real one who are plan this is USA it was Philippine ally
Just because the majority of the people voted against your preferred candidate, it doesn't mean their misinformed, belittling the Filipinos is actually the main reason your preferred candidate lost the election, nobody would have voted for people who always malign the opponent. Instead of reaching out to the people to vote for your preferred candidate, you guys talk down on them, treating them like fools.
@@gieeeno From what you said in your post, you just implied that filipinos did not vote for their candidates because of who their candidates are but because of what the supporters of the opposing candidates are doing? It's foolish, is what I think. That is, if that's what really happened. I stand apolitical, but I honestly don't know how marcos won (don't even give me the "the people have spoken, leave us alone" response because that only shows how you don't have any logical answers at all). In the papers, Leni would have been a better choice. She actually has achievements and a good track record. Marcos jr. on the other hand, may be a "little" questionable. When asked, the common answer to why Marcos jr. is the better option are his dad's achievement as president, and his "gold". But who knows what will happen right? Bill gates dropped out of college and didn't get the paper that would presumably give him a successful life. But he did anyway. There are even people with these "papers" who end up struggling anyways (and these are pretty uncommon) Some "paper" can't reflect what a person can do, so Marcos jr., for all we truly know, could actually make philippines the America in their (America) prime. I really hope I'm not putting my little bit of optimism left in me in the wrong places though..
@@twopunch6833 first of all, what I said is IT made a big impact, not saying they just voted solely because of the negative campaining Leni's followers did, regardless it made an impact to those who are contemplating who to vote. It's true Leni would have been the protagonist of this election drama, bbm's last name alone put him on the negative side, makes his history tainted but as you can see, when Leni's camp started throwing stones and her followers went berserk on social media, with bbm doing all he can to be passive and positive about the dilemma, it made him the underdog instead of Leni, it went on a reverse, now all you see in the media is Leni's camp so called educated followers pointing at everyone who wants to vote to bbm and screaming their wrong and lacks education, that made an impact, not the sole reason since the marcoses still have loyal followers like my whole motherside, plus add the duterte followers who backs bbm and it answers your questions of how he won. Imagine me alone, if you consider me as the main center, my motherside family all for bbm (since they experienced his better side of governance as they said), my fatherside family is torn in half, most my male friends are bbm, women are torn half, gay friends torn half, count everyone on my degree and you will still have bbm as the winner, not saying I'm relevant, it's just an example of how people voted around me. Two of my cousins was not even able to vote since they did not vote on the local elections last time, they weren't allowed, both want bbm. I'm sure it's different for every one, but on where I'm standing, that was the summary of why he had a landslide. At least in my point of view.
@@gieeeno My bad, I must have phrased it wrong. I didn't mean to imply that *that* was the sole reason the majority voted for BBM. But it is still disappointing that that was the *MAIN* reason, or the more popular reason for voting a candidate. And correct me if I'm wrong. I stalk in facebook and when the Leni supporters would point out her achievements, that wasn't enough to convince people. The responses they get are, rather than facts, insults such as "lugaw". It's interesting because it doesn't make sense why anyone would still stick with the side without any counter arguments at all besides throwing insults. I wouldn't blame the leni supporters for pulling the "lack of education" tactic. If there's anything I can conclude from this, it's that the majority, in your narrative, voted for their candidate *mainly* just because they were offended by the opposing candidate's supporter. In other words, the majority makes the decision to choose a candidate *mainly* with their emotions, not facts.
We've been plagued by the Catholic Church for 500 years. wala namang nagbago. it's time to embrace Science and Innovation just like the rest of the developed countries.
If the Philippines can sustain the govt target of 6% growth rate in the next 10 years (which it did, by the way, in most of the previous 10 years), it will have more than twice the GDP of Malaysia and a lot higher than Taiwan's GDP in 2021. Thus, 2040 will probably put the country into the developed nation status.... if it plays its card right.
Malaysia has 1/3 of your population. Malaysia is stagnating. You double Malaysia's GDP won't make you developed but stuck in shit. You need more, much more but it will be a long struggle.
Malaysia is a Upper Middle Income country ranked 62 in the world based o GNI of $ 10,930. The Philippines is a Lower Middle Income country ranked 121 with a GNI of $ 3,640. Malaysia is 3Xs richer than the Philippines. And its just at the cusp of being a developed country when it cross the limit of over $13,000. If the Philippines economy GNI growth at 6% annually for the next 10 years its GNI will only be $ 6,519 way behind Malaysia even if Malaysia has zero nil growth lol Philippines GDP is already bigger than Malaysia, or Singapore and it will grow even bigger. But GDP only show size of economy not how rich it is. The Philippines has a long way to become a developed country.
@@jsanon1634 I always go to Malaysia because of my work and malaysia is just look like a philippines. It look identical. Whenever I travel to malaysia, I feel like I just going to other city and just traveling domestically.
@@bobhangin4445 But when I went to the Philippines I dont feel it is like Malaysia. There are like countless slums and squalor everywhere in Metro Manila that I never find in Malaysia. I see clearly the Malaysians have a higher living standards than Filipinos and this is borne out by its higher human development index, Also Malaysia is more developed in its infrastructures like it has subways which the Philippines has not (just started to build) it has the national government center in Putrajaya which the Philippines is copying in its New Clark City NGAC (being build by same Malaysian company), it has many iconic supertalls whilst the Philippines has like none.

As a Seafarer, I believe that the Philippines will move forward and prosper when it comes to Economic Boost because of its very Strategic Location between all of the Nearby Countries. Many proposed Ports were suitable as a Transhipment hub between Asian Countries and America. Very rich also when it comes to Traditional human Culture, religion, the hospitability of people, and Natural resources. GODbless Philippines!!! Mabuhay

Give these buildings to the Philippino people🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 so the children , the next generation of Philippinos can advance !!! And make Philippines paradise on earth 🌍 ❤ GOD bless Philippines 🇵🇭
I work with the government. The progress of Ambisyon2040 is dismal. 1. Innovation grants are awarded to cronies and friends of the higher ups and not always to the deserving proposals. 2. Start-ups are actually from Telecomm giants’ subprojects or companies of government cronies. Private individuals (like the Mark Zuckerberg kind) barely get funding. One friend even got threatened by a competitor from a major broadcasting station. 3. Infrastructure favors car-centric society- not public/active transpo. Dept of Transpo keeps enacting car-centric policies. Major railways are years behind schedule. Public jeepneys are not granted aid in operating. Public vehicle drivers are not compensated. 4. Recent elections saw the reelection of convicted plunderers in both National and Local Government Units, so idk how theyre gonna go after corruption if all 3 branches of government are infested with corrupt officials. All in all? Good luck Philippines. Though, I’m not too optimistic
The biggest problem is that the people don't want to realize this. They build their own fantasy world and even remove well proven pages from the history books.
im proud to be Pilipino all Asean country let's helping together and rising together .... let's spread love peace and respect to all countries right..... and be kind .✌️❤️🇵🇭🙏

All it needs is for foreign capital to flow in. Right now the West is moving capital and manufacturing out of China into India, and even more significantly into Vietnam. The Philippines will benefit to try to pull some of the Chinese capital outflow of western investment and technology into your country.
Most of all middle class Filipino families work overseas to beat inflation, to gain better life. Often say hopefully one day Philippines could be like Singapore, UAE etc. When will be the time Filipinos no need to go abroad and live together with no financial worries. Hopefully one day.
It wouldn't especially when it mostly relies on bpo, ofw remittances and tourism lol A strong county would have an established industrial and manufacturing sector, and by the looks of it, only Calabarzon is the region where industrial/manufacturing sector dominates, the rest of the regions are service sector dominated. They need to deal with the problems on infrastructure and power supply first.
Right? Like, most of the businesses in the Philippines are small private enterprises which I think is kind of not so great. They’d (the majority) rather have their own business than having to work for a business. Philippines should have more industrialization and promote their/our culture and products around the world. Filipinos should also learn to save up money and invest, in that case, the Philippines’ economy would boom faster. Or the government could promote and investment company which is a tax free savings account and those money will be then used to build the Philippines and grow- having a large amount of interest at the end which could buy a property or a house or a grand condominium or even start a company. The only problem is that the Philippines is not a free market economy however in this case, if it’s to build the Philippines, why would it be impossible? The investment you poured was for the Philippines growth so and is controlled by the government so I don’t think this should be a problem unless it’ll go corrupt. I also suggest that filipinos should learn to live in compartments to save space while renovating the barong barong barangays. I’m so irritated by how the roads and the planning of the streets are so complicated and dumb. Also, the Philippines should promote a job picking up trashes in the streets or whatever and will be exchange for money depending on the amount or weight of the trash collected. This is the things I want for the new senate be doing.
I have been to the Philippines a couple of times; I really liked it there for the short time I was there. I married a Filipina and we have been together for over nine years. She has been the best thing that i could have done. I hope the Philippines finds a way to modernize and become one of the best countries in the world. I think the people that live there deserve it.

Solution: Do not let any more LIBERAL PARTY hold position in the government. Periodt!
Sad😔
This is good investment, ph is starting to be more successful keep it up guys
There are even people with these "papers" who end up struggling anyways (and these are pretty uncommon)
Some "paper" can't reflect what a person can do, so Marcos jr., for all we truly know, could actually make philippines the America in their (America) prime.

I thibk he meant nominal gdp not gdp per capita

Philippines has now the fastest growing economy in Asia. It is an Industrial archipelago.
All it needs is for foreign capital to flow in. Right now the West is moving capital and manufacturing out of China into India, and even more significantly into Vietnam. The Philippines will benefit to try to pull some of the Chinese capital outflow of western investment and technology into your country.

A strong county would have an established industrial and manufacturing sector, and by the looks of it, only Calabarzon is the region where industrial/manufacturing sector dominates, the rest of the regions are service sector dominated.
