After years of drifting with the stances cars, I haven’t lost a single drifting race since this update. Casually getting 300k-400k points each race. Not sure what the best drift car is- some people like the Tampa. But my success has been with the Remus and Zr350

Yes brother. In drifting, the crash is inevitable. We are driving with the least amount of traction as possible, sideways 😂😂. I personally enjoy seeing the car build up damage over time on free mode
it needs more like power when doing corners adn more grip, bcause it dos slide to the side whenever there is a sharp turnand yes more grip and power and brake controle and some handbrake physics😊

No, the drift tuning is applied on top. Having everything upgraded before the tuning will make your car faster than it would be if you just applied the tuning!

I noticed Mange’s at slow speeds win you the most score and abusing that can make the drift races really boring especially after a race it can clear out a lobby because people are spectating you with a 50k+ drift and 5x multiplier I started drift alone in mirror park and textiles both 10 laps each because the hair pin turns have given me problems keep losing my drift points to straightening out even though I’m still drifting Slow mange’s are the key to racking up the most points be the tortoise not the haire I get kicked from drift race lobbies now which is annoying but it’s your fault you taught me how to drift lmfao still need to get better though Also if you do a 300k drift you get DRIFT KING but you need to end your drift before the finish line so the DRIFT KING pops out on your screen
Guys just so you know apply your performance upgrades before you do the drift upgrade (engine and turbo) apparently it makes a difference and you get more power this way. Rockstar spaghetti code I guess.
Also im on pc i heard something about a new drift camera i still have to manually aim the camera when drifting on pc dont have a console anymore so not sure how it works on that
Do green zones do ANYTHING besides upping the multiplier quicker? To me they seem just high risk and almost no reward because it's easy to keep a 5x multiplier anyway. I only use them when I've lost my multiplier and want to get it up quickly before the end of the race.
I think you're spot-on there, they will help early on but once your multiplier is maxed out hitting them doesn't matter all that much - sometimes I just do it for the style points lol

Well the way the cars in GTA drift throttle control can definitely help you in certain situation but since it's so easy to control in most you don't have to use it to get a good drift going, but you can if it's easier for you. I'm on PC and drift with a Keyboard and I step off the gas quite a lot when doing drift races.

@@StevieWunderKidIf you can it would be nice if the controller triggers had the white color filling the trigger from bottom to up depending on how much throttle. Now it's really hard to say if you are modulating or full throttle since no idea what's the difference between let's say 80-100.
Kinda makes sense that they'd turn down the smoke effects for the older hardware, especially in bigger lobbies when the smoke takes up the whole screen lol

Thanks for watching, sorry if the video format wasn't easy to watch but I tried to make my controller inputs as clear as possible and that was the simplest way for me to do it. Would be awesome if Rockstar added the drift tuning to the cars you suggested!
one thing worth keeping in mind for those who weren't sure, the score is based on distance travelled while drifting. nothing to do with angle or speed. when planning out your lines, make sure to use as much of the track as possible ;)
Wished that wasn’t the case and it’s more dependent to both angles and speed, with just distance eventually there’s like a limit after doing a perfect run with the maximum points with all the possible precision drifts. Still difficult to manage but if you have it on both angle and speed, there would be more possibilities for the perfect score. Not complaining, probably just a little suggestion for Rockstar.

Not at all dude, if anything PH's physics are more realistic and faithful to the car - they at least retain the RWD system and don't make the suspension super spongy. I like them a bit better than Rockstar's gripped-up AWD system that we have now.

The drift camera helps a lot but I'm always slightly adjusting the camera myself via the right stick, mainly to aim it above the car to gauge proximity a bit better.
i havent found any use in the hand brake only regular brake. i have only used the G35 and 350z so maybe this one is diff but in the cars i use i turn back and forth will in slight angle and it makes me speed up a lot. your good at drifting though!! wish you would have done full screen car and just corner controller lol but i seee why you did this but it isnt rocket league you dont need to see every little touch lol its not that demanding lol This should have been a rally chop shop lol R* getting a bit sloppy on the Qc though i hope this isnt future forshadowing! i love there listining a decade later but anywyas good content fam
Although the actual definition of 'manji' means something similar to 'awesome' in Japanese, for drifting it basically means a fishtail or controlled drift on a straightaway - it allows you to fully link together the drifts between each turn on a track.
Probably not to be honest, the basic strategies I used and insights I made wouldn't really change at all. Things would only get slightly easier, but the core tactics won't change.
I think you're taking this a bit too seriously lmao, Rockstar didn't change anything about the old methods of drifting, they simply added something new and fun that lessens the skill gap. It's all down to the style of drifting you like doing the most.

I've got a video ranking them all, not a huge fan of the Tampa personally, I like the smoother cars like the Remus, Euros, ZR350, and FR36.

Yo you can use throttle control, on ps5 you can feel it a lot better because of adaptive triggers

Full throttle most of the time, as seen by my right trigger staying white.

If you have a car that you put bulletproof tires on and then take off does stancing by shooting the tires still work?
Yes it does, but that's totally separate from cars with the drift tuning - they can't ever be stanced.
I wish the ps4 version actually had tire smoke like that. There's almost no smoke while drifting😂

It looks so slow.
It is fairly slow, the stock cars I was using didn't help either.
The scoring on this system is messed up cause you can spin out crazy and they will call it a mega drift and give you 5x time your points lol
Haven't experienced that at all, I find the scoring system to be quite sensitive to both spinouts and when my car loses slightly too much speed.

Everybody before you put the drift kit on . Make sure to buy the engine , turbo and transmission before apply the drift tune . You can drift faster 😋😁

You have to go into the 'races' section within the jobs menu, then scroll down until you see the ones with the 'Drift' label.

Yeah that's a great spot for practice, it's more slippery than a normal road so things are a bit smoother.
How can I drift with my camera allows showing the side of my car?
You have to use the right stick to manually pan it around as you're drifting, will take some time to get the muscle memory for that.
