Just downloaded the plini plug-in the other day and was super impressed and was thinking between the plini or nolly but I think I’m definitely gonna drop the coin on this one
@@JamieSlays Ayyyy rewatching this seven months later. Got tickets for Gojira in March, hyped. What are using for drums in this demo? That snare is super nice.
I'm not gonna lie. How many times can you make a different high gain amp sound? I think if you're not gigging then you really don't need a QC. But that's me. Or if you have a really slow computer and want a lot of tracks on a recording. But this is the best plugin they've come out with by far for me.
A Solar guitar and the Gojira Plugin!? Noice! Might just have to subscribe! I’m totally new to plugins, I’ll watch this video. I don’t really understand how to set up an expression pedal for using the WoW?
This new Gojira plugin is a really nice surprise, at first I didn't like most of the Neural plugins, but this one made me take a better look at all the other Neural plugins, they are really great.
Very nice sounds! I've been demo'ing the Gojira plugin for a few days now and still messing around with presets...for years I've been trying to dial in a very badass and yet sweet metal rhythm tone that has all that great distortion but isn't muddy and too high gain fizzy or trebley...pretty much like your rhythm guitar preset in the song. Something that cuts through the dense mix of drums and synths. Does your custom preset downloads include that rhythm metal tone? Thanks! Oh and btw do you use real or programmed drums for your recording and if so, what software? - Yannaki
@@JamieSlays my bad. I thought you used a midi pedal with the whammy part of the plug in. I’ve been researching for a pedal to use with all my plugins...bias fx2 all the neural ones etc.
Bro it all depends on the skills you have in production and mixing. Because a real amp needs a precise mic location, at an exact point in the cab to sound good, as well as having an excellent acoustically treated room. It's not just buying a peavey 6505, Mesa 4x12 cab, sm57 and voila, it's that easy to get the professional tone of legendary 90s recordings. Also if you know what you are doing, you can achieve a better tone than neural with free plugins. It's just a matter of spending more time learning what else you can about mixing.

Does not seem up anymore, any chance for a relink?

Using the 14 day trial, this is incredible, blows every other VST out of the water. Great vid and demo!
Have u tried TH-U by Overloud.
Damn dude your demo song was awesome! That is a killer tone and sounded great in the mix.
Thanks!
I was absolutely floored by the song demo. Plz release a full song w vocals and everything it would be a masterpiece
I’m so happy everyone likes it as I didn’t think it was that good. Maybe I will!!
that demo song sounds like lamb of god meets gojira
awesome
I was thinking the same thing! but for new LOG settings, not old ones :)
Lamb of gojira
@@Spoofaged Lamb of Goj Since Gojira translates to Godzilla 🤣
The demo song is totally awesome. Tribute like, with every ingredient inside. I'm blown away !

I just plugged into my Roland Cube, and it sounds great.
Awesome dude sounded great.
This sounds sick. Gojira will always be one of my faves
Nice mate, will have to check it out.
Damn that riff you made i headbanged it so hard
Sounds awesome! Those presets sound amazing!
Very nice! also like that little 96 Quite Bitter Beings lick, haven't heard that song in a while :D
Nolly and Gojira for sure, yeah the presets would be great
Sick. I really like those videos. Would like to see more of you recording stuff.
This is awesome Jamie! The distortion sounds so sick and lovely
mate that demo was thickkkk , very nice stuff . 🔥🔥
Thanks bro!!
The tones are awesome. Great job bro!
i tried this one today and its sick and heavy! Great demo Jamie! cheers :)
Amazing song at the end!
One of the Gojira guys did draw the pedal doodles, Silver Cord Studios (Gojira) posted the sketches on Instagram earlier
I love them
@@JamieSlays Ayyyy rewatching this seven months later. Got tickets for Gojira in March, hyped.
What are using for drums in this demo? That snare is super nice.
This sounds so good. First time I have really thought about buying one. If I did would live those pre sets...
The track is awesome 👍
I have most of the neural dsp plugins and they are top drawer, good vid, cheers
Yeah that plugin sounds dope! I liked your mixing on your track as well..
Totally awesome sounding plugin!
very nice!!
I love their plugins, they're so good, but since they are so stellar, who would need a Quad Cortex?
I need a quad cortex haha
better. Easier to use. More presets. All in one place. Actually capture a real rig

If Gojira ever lose steam or run dry on new riffs, they can just contact you... nice riffing, man !
That 96 quite bitter beings riff.. Brings back the memories watching all the CKY/Jackass movies as a kid :D
Also, yes. Release the pre sets plz :)
Ah jeez. It does actually sound really good. As if that's surprising for a NDSP plugin! lol. Think I might have to d/l and try it out.
Damn Jamie, that riff in the middle made me pull the stank face. Keep killin it bruv 🔥🔥🔥🦆
Thanks!!!
They absolutely killed the design of the heads. Looks so sick
That clean preset reminded me of primus at first
They all sound good. But The crunch amp looks the coolest.
Yuhhhh
Yup! Amazing ❤️
Great tones bro 💯 Thinking about using this along side the Granophyre in the mix

Hi 👋 always good to see you! Hope you're well?
Dude! 8:14 I'm hearing some Machine Head tones... crazy stuff 🤘
Preset link not work, please share! Awesome tone bro!
4:39 what is the song??
96 quite bitter beings :)
@@JamieSlays thank you man..you are awesome matey..thank you very much for all..

Sounds sooooo heavy!
I hope Gojira see this. Great song at the end.
are these gatekeeper in the solar, though the demo is tight and heavy af🤩
Yehhhhhhhhhhh
What was it that he play at 4:40? may someone tell me.
Sounds great, but what is actual impressive is drums at the end of video. What is used if i might ask?
Super drummer I think! :)
Nice song my guy.
Sounds Great Man.. Presets,? Must have..
Presets?
What's the song in the end of the video(12:10)?
It’s my own song :) I’m going to release it in iTunes and spotify

Oh yeh? I never really got on with it
@@JamieSlays absolutely, you should give it another shot! Maybe do a video on it ;)
Same
Not as versatile, but it's still the best high gain rhythm tone imo. I use that and then the Plini Archetype for cleans and some leads
That song was incredible. Have you heard of the band Shokran?
Hi Jamie. where's the drum sound from? killer! thanks in advance!
Gojira riff medley when???
Already did one :)
That was so tasty. I need to download that but my PC and latency is just KILLLING ME
Easily Neurals best Archetype. It sounds amazing!
Hey Jamie, great video and song. How do you make your drums?
I used superior drummer 3 :)
sounds great but can this tone be achieved with bias fx2 n external IR?
Hey Jamie! Did you use the Stock IR impulses?
Thanks for the awesome review man!
Yepppp no custom IR
@@JamieSlays woow thats amazing dude thanks so much!! and thanks for the presets as well man
fuck ya! love the track!
what do you use for the drum? SOUND SIIIIIICK
We use SD3 or GGD invasion :)
@Jamie Slays
Hey thanks for the video
Why the lowest latency i can get is 3ms?
I need 0 its so painful i cant play
Is it because i have intelcore i3?
Potentially yeah. I have an i9 in mine and a lot of ram
Sick! Do I need an amp to record and use these plugins? Or it is all connected from the interface to the pc? Thanks in advance!
Interface into pc yeh! :)

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 ;)

What are the 2 guitars you have
In the video I used my ibanez rgaix6fm and my solar s1.6pbltd :) both using jamie slays signature pickups
Nice.
Hey, what product program?
Product??
@@JamieSlays what kind of program are you using?
In reference to what? The guitar is the neural dsp gojira plugin. The drums are different etc
@@JamieSlays oh ok, I thought it was some kind of program, I ask because I play the reaper
No. It’s a plugin, VST, AU. it has a stand alone version but you run it in programmes like reaper or Logic Pro etc
the dirt pedal is probably a proco rat based on the fact it has a filter knob not a tone
Which midi pedal did you use here?
I didn’t use any midi pedals :) which bit are you referring to

awsm man

pretty sure the dirt pedal is a RAT, which is awesome!

Gojira tone, modern? Jesus Christ, hype can create really serious social domino effects

so they sent you a free plugin and you wrote a COOL song and saying good things about it?!
