I was pleased when I learned how modern this song is. The song is not yet 100 years old and was written by Al Brumley. Brumley's son Tom was the pedal-steel player for Buck Owens' band The Buckaroos, and was one of the greatest players in the history of country music. I hope you have a nice day, Sally!
