sitting here feeling angry and sad today 6 months after my failed stem cell transplant. most days I'm ok. today wasn't one of those days..... I kind of sunk...... I appreciate you sharing your story so much. to say "six months after my failed transplant" I guess is a pretty good thing... still here. still fighting. accepting and fighting. today I have not been a trooper..... thank you Andrea. God bless you and I pray you have may years of love and cycling miles ahead of you.
Hang in there! I know how hard, demoralizing and discouraging recovery can be. I trust you have spoken to your doctor/s for advice. I used to say today was a good day, yesterday a 'not so good' one. Then the good ones beat out the not so good ones.
5 1/2 yrs ago I was diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia. They wanted to give me chemo pills, but I refused. In 2011 I was diagnosed with a very aggressive stage 3 breast cancer, that I beat with no chemo. So I also refused chemo for 0:06 the ET. Thankfully my platelets have remained the same. Thank you for sharing your story, it gives me an idea as to how this can progress and treatments. I am very grateful that you are doing so well. You are very inspiring.
@ RSO Rick Simpson Oil. Cures even some stage 4 cancer, but it won’t work if you already had chemo. The first of the year I am starting with Ivermectin and Fenbendazole. They cure so many things, including the long haul Covid which I have been suffering from for 29 months. Take care
Thank you for this inspiration. The music is incredible, who is the writer? Have a wonderful chistmas time with your loved ones. The best for you, Denise and your sister.
My sweet sister wasn’t a candidate for stem cell transplant. She suffered for 10 years from this disease. We lost her 18 months ago. I miss her everyday.
But did you have jak2 with this disease. I have had since 2008. Don't like pain no bone biopsy for me. No chemo. I took it did absolutely nothing to my platelets. For me it's stress and infection
What an amazing person. May you still live for a very long time and have many special experiences with your loved ones. 😊❤😊
Thank you so much.
thank you for the kind comment!

But did you have jak2 with this disease. I have had since 2008. Don't like pain no bone biopsy for me. No chemo. I took it did absolutely nothing to my platelets. For me it's stress and infection
I did have the JAK2 mutation.
Are you taking Hydroxyurea?
@@peggybuetow1026 After transplant i don't need any MPN drugs
@@peggybuetow1026 no it dam near killed me. No chemo can I have
My injection in 2006 which doctor induced 3 major strokes has something to do with this. Can't prove it but I just know by time lines
If you ever do a dna test, you will be your sister!
yes! my blood type changed to hers and 23&Me would not share my results with me since they could not separate her DNA from mine. ha!
@andreaspica485 crazy isn't it?!?
No anemia high iron
High iron from transfusions?
@andreaspica485 I don't get transfusions or chemo
So I was just diagnosed with essential Thrombocythemia JAK 2 mutation. Just put on Hydroxyurea. DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE CANCER??? 2 weeks ago.
@@peggybuetow1026 yes it is a rare blood cancer. N.O.R.D. will explain your disease very well
I suggest you speak with your doctor
Do you have to have the Jak 2 mutation? They keep talk about to me about possible polycythemia (vera).
@@christinapopp675 i did have the Jak2 mutation.
Isn’t it interesting what gives people the will to survive? Stem cell transplant is not achievable for some people
You appear to be a late 60’s person.
??
@ did you take the c shot and how many boosters…?
Nonody can make your life span predictions but God.
