How awesome these old films are -- not just to see the fabulous old-time horses and races, but the crowds of people -- our ancestors in history -- and the look of those days. Thanks for uploading this esrohtv!
This 1935 film is priceless! My Great-Grandmother was a Palin, and a cousin to Sep Palin. Her son (my Grandfather) told me all about Greyhound and what an amazing horse he was! Through extensive research, I have learned that other branches of my family - the Seelys, the Hetfields, and more, were also involved in harness racing. I have owned a Standardbred mare (unraced) for 27 years!
Wow! Never expected to see video of Greyhound in my lifetime, so glad I found it. He was huge, wasn't he? Towered above the others, coming around the far turn. And I agree with the comment about his seemingly 10-foot-long legs! What a treat, thanks for posting:-)
I HAVE HERD OF GREYHOUND ALL MY LIFE HAS I WAS BORN INTO HARNESS I LIKE TO THANK ESROAH FOR ALLOW ME TO SEE THIS VIDEO I HAVE WAITED 60 YEARS TO SEE THE GREAT GREYHOUND ONLY EQUIPMENT HE WORE WAS A SET OF KNEE BOOTS IT IS SHAME THEY MOVED THE HAMBO FROM GOSHEN WHAT DRIVER SEPH WAS NO WHIP JUST HIS HANDS
Exciting! Gave me chills. Thank you for posting. I'm always searching for footage of the great match race between Quarter Horse Barbara B., and sprinting TB Fair Truckle. It was in 1947, at Hollywood Park, Inglewood, CA. Barbara B. trounced him. Must be a home movie, or something out there.

I have to say it..It might be Une De Mai, then.. Ourasi and a 3 yr old Mack Lobell..
@@brianjschumer Mack Lobell or Muscle Hill
@@brianjschumer No way Une de Mai, perhaps Roquépine.
Here's a vote for Moni Maker!
This is good..... Bad sound though.
