Let's not forget that it's his right hip that is metal, so controlling that area is probably not straight-forward. I would like to see him get the club-face more open on the backswing and approach more from the inside. That thing on the floor near the ball should be moved out the way so he can swing outwards without fear. Also, his RH grip looked a bit like it wasn't gripped at the base of the fingers, but through the hand (like a tennis grip in fact).
A good indicator of whether he can get to scratch is the fact he is an amazing sportsman already. And the one thing that X Factor has shown us when they do back stories to people before their first song is that people who are very good at things in their back story will most likely be very good at the thing they have turned up for (because people who are very very good at things dont waste their time and energy by investing in to things they are not good at) 🤣 So can Andy get to scratch, absolutely. He has the background of success already there as the foundation for this move in to golf.
Fascinating to see this … I’m surprised the swing is relatively this poor but I’m sure now he’s a full timer, so good some tuition will certainly sort this out. Be interesting to compare it in say a years time PS JR …somethings up with the audio in this vid - it’s a bit distorted throughout ?

Yessir!
The X-Factor is a back story alright ! You can play at scratch without ruining your back .

Think I’ve made the audio too loud and it’s distorted - sorry!
Are both of his feet turned inward? Seems odd.
Very square! It is odd
