I really love how your voiceovers are there for a purpose and truly serve it, rather than just being a backdrop to you showing us outfits. What I mean is that you don't just walk us through the outfit, but you always analyze the "strategy" you use when putting things together, as well as the concept behind it each time in a way that allows us to implement the same or similar thought processes when creating our own outfits. I'm sure I don't only speak for myself when I say that after watching your videos, I feel more confident in my own ability to do something similar with my own wardrobe. I am subscribed to a couple more people on here who put together outfit inspiration, but you have that Midas touch that makes each and every video feel like a tutorial ( I mean this in the absolute best way) and not a show-offy haul. I walk away from your videos feeling like I haven't wasted my time, and knowing that they will always be relevant in years to come, regardless of trends. I always take something with me beyond the simple outfits and combinations. I feel like you are letting me in on secrets that work over and over again and that are not particular to that one outfit. Nice ideas here, Lydia. If you don't mind a suggestion, your base trousers appear to be several sizes too big in the thigh. Note how they bag out under your dark blazer. A small alteration would make a world of difference. You have such lovely slim legs, why make them look so much bigger?
I wear a base of sleeveless tank and pants (often joggers) every day here in New Zealand so I love this . The sleeveless provides a base even in winter and as here we can have 4 seasons in one day a base layer that looks good is essential for me. This style video is so helpful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always spent more money on clothes and lots of them until recently I realised that accessories are more important than the clothes you can wear the same clothes everyday for week and just change out the accessories and have 7 totally different looking outfits theu really do make a huge difference and you don't have to spend a fortune to get nice jewelry theres a few companies on Amazon that sell 14 and 18 k plated jewelry and ive had pieces from them for years they have not lost there colour or tarnished or turned my skin green and they are reasonable prices you can get decent sunglasses too from Amazon and belts shoes hair accessories ect..... Pavoi is one of the jewelry brands they are usa and uk and Philip jones is definitely uk I don't know if they ship to usa too though
I know a lot of people hate shien and I get it fast fashion but not everyone has the money to spend on higher quality pieces and you can get really great looking accessories from them really affordable then swap them out one by one as you can afford it for better quality ones
I always love your outfits and appreciate all the tips. Today however the pants seem to swallow your slim silhouette, more so with the loose shirt. Not trying to be critical but only wondering why someone with impeccable style chooses them?
Beautiful clothes, however not everyone can wear black, it’s not the right energy on a subtle soft sensitive woman it’s too structured and heavy for softer blended beautiful energies it drags them dow n dark grey is their black take a look at Carol Tuttle Dressing Your Truth energy profiling wearing the right colours eg I’m water fire I can’t wear black and white stripes although it looks so bold and stunning I’m more of a soft summer the energy is more softer and blended, however if your secondary nature is earth then you can wear a little back.
