It was excruciating to hear how many times judge had to stop him, remind him, nag him, & fuss.
His voice is not very strong, and he sounded like he needs to start drinking lemon water, tea with honey, lemon, and gingerroot and maybe olive oil.

Proctor's texts were not regrettable and inappropriate, they were a window into his evil soul.

I am astonished that after hearing those last three experts, hired by the DOJ, FBI, that this jury would believe anything coming from Jenn McCabe, Brian Albert, Trooper Proctor, etc over those experts. Someone in the jury perhaps is in with that crowd, and perhaps holding out because there's no way in hell that 12 intelligent people would not find reasonable doubt. As to the OKeefe family, of course I feel badly for them, John was a huge loss, but to treat the defendant with so much apparent anger, not knowing the truth, and knowing all the wonderful things she did for not only John, but for the niece and nephew after the tragic loss of their parents, which never got mentioned during the trial just baffles me. They have been bamboozled by these corrupt people, insofar as even sitting with the family during closing arguments. This was clearly a plot to lead the jury into believing they are tight with the Okeefe family. It was disgraceful, shameful, and that judge's snarky remark to Karen Read, was just another attempt to humiliate Miss Read, just as Proctor had done, with his filthy disgusting remarks, etc. I simply cannot understand why the jury would even lean towards any other verdict except for NOT GUILTY. If that's the verdict, then we are allowing law enforcement and the Norfolk DA's office to continue to convict innocent people, have judges preside over trials who should recuse themselves, and in this case, allowing a lead investigator to take it upon himself to determine with little to no real evidence after 16 hours after the crime, to frame an innocent person who could easily be you or me in order to protect another cop. This is a judicial miscarriage, insulting to not only Miss Read, but also to the OKeefe family who don't want to believe that one or more of John's own fellow officers may have beat him to death. The most corrupt trial I've ever seen. If they convict her, I hope the public, politicians , etc in MA cause a public outrage and protest such an injustice. This is everyone's worst nightmare, and what's sad is that the Judge confused the jury at the last minute with incomplete instructions, was rude to the defense, and to the defendant, all in final ill attempt to show everyone, especially the jury, who is in charge, and where she stood as far as the outcome of this case. She was a joke, this trial may not have been a cover up, but there's no way it was an honest investigation, and the prosecutions witnesses conducted themselves with absolutely no respect for the court or the highly skilled defense attorneys. She allowed certain witnesses to commit perjury, change their statements, etc. The whole trial, although interesting, was a disgrace. I hope at some point those who deserve it, are sued by the Read family and or convicted in the federal investigation. That's when justice will be served. I hope the jury over the weekend sees, hears, or whatever they need to do to come to a not guilty verdict and put an end to what was one of the worst cases of corruption in the state of MA.

If she is found guilty or even a hung Jury its time to take our power back from a tyrannical government that means us harm. There is zeeo way this should have made it to trial.
Backing up sixty feet at 24mph is the only evidence they needed, yet they added tons of reasonable doubt because of their inability to resist tampering with evidence.
Officer John 0’keefe’s family deserve true Justice not a sacrificial lamb or a witch trial. The pictures of the taillight only cracked the very next morning tell it all. I wish all the best to both the O’Keefe and the Read family.

I agree. It needs to be proportional. Also, certain data points need to be designated as facts for the case. With this case, even when something has been proven to be false due to physics, it still can be rejected. Not sure how to fix this but not everything is subjective. State never proved he was killed by her suv. In fact, the hard evidence shows the opposite. The jurors can judge her intentions but i don’t see how they can change the hard facts based on their ignorance or degree they were manipulated by lawyers and witnesses on both sides. In today’s society people think they know more than the expert witnesses and that their opinion is better when that’s not what is up for debate for a juror in a criminal trial.
@@GeorgiaJakes7 I would have a hard time getting past Officer O'Keefe's DNA on the inside of the taillight housing and fragments of the drinking glass on his clothing and the SUV bumper along with "I hit him" from the defendant directly. She should be guilty of OWI and the lesser charge. You can make a case she did not have intent to kill him on the Murder 2 charge but the other two charges I feel were proven through video evidence and the vehicle telemetry. A drunk person puit it in reverse hit the pedal and was going close to 24 MPH in reverse. That is reckless.

But there is reasonable doubt in this case and Im absolutely astonished theres a juror or jurors who have disregarded evidence and phD expert unbiased testimony. Jurors need IQ tests before they are accepted on a jury Jurors are the fact finders and we hope that a jury of our peers will follow the law and not potentially put an innocent person in jail. This should concern every single person because if you are ever accused of a crime you didnt committ...this could be you.. you can believe, well maybe she did it. But you cant disregard reasobable doubt. Innocence and reasonable doubt are not necessarily the same. Jurors need to understand this!!!! KR is not guilty.

I am a retired State Trooper North Carolina here and I spent 30 years on the road investigating over 14 thousand motor vehicle crashes. The injuries on the victim's arm are NOT CONSISTENT with a motor vehicle crash. The Law Enforcement Officers has some major credibility issues and I am glad an outside agency is investigating these State Troopers and All of Law Enforcement. In my opinion, she is NOT GUILTY because the evidence doesn't match the facts . I think this was a set up and this lady had to spend thousands of dollars to hire these attorneys and this is the weakest case I have ever watched. It's going to be a mistrial and the District Attorney will not retry this. The prosecutor is a joke and many Law Enforcement Officers involved in this case are pathetic and a disgrace to us who have proudly served the public with honesty and integrity. Nothing surprises me anymore. Law Enforcement must and shall be held to a higher standard and all of these involved, covered it up. Those marks on the victim's arms are not from a motor vehicle crash. They are dog bites and look to me like he was beaten. A 24 MPH VEHICLE will NOT cause those injuries. One word, PATHETIC.

If you were a cop, you were a bad cop, because the evidence found by the SERT team proves that Karen Read ran over John O'Keefe. And her vehicle confirms that she struck a pedestrian in that location

The retired foresic ME lady who only saw a couple of photos and not all the evidence saying it was a dog, perhaps a large dog (contrived testimony to get paid) even though no canine DNA present anywhere, the expert that said Officer O'Keefe threw a drink glass at the taillight? They used a drink glass cannon to shoot a glass at 37 MPH lol. Lally was shredding the defense witnesses so defense rested quickly to avoid proving the case for the prosecution.

How anybody can fin her guilty is beyond my comprehension. If you watched the trial and all the evidence...there is NOOOOOO evidence at all that an accident even took place...i.e. Not guilty!
It has to make you wonder if there could be a corrupt person on the jury all these people state every day that they haven’t heard anything about this case or talked about it how could they not think about that for a minute anyone from Massachusetts and around the globe nose of this case, I don’t believe that for a minute, I’m beginning to wonder if there’s some corruption on the jury as well

Probably not when they see critical evidence of guilt, and listen to her saying she hates him just minutes after she took off and left him at 34 Fairview. Read also left several other messages for him calling his young niece and nephew nasty vile names , and calling him a pervert several times . That’s after they heard the young children testify about how much John and Karen were fighting, John asking Karen to leave his house a few times and Karen refused to leave. Than came testimony from several people over Karen reads behavior the way she treated John they’re fighting while on a family vacation just 3 weeks earlier in Jan. 2022 . Karen Read is far from innocent in John’s death , she was drunk as proven by her alcohol consumption that evening , Read had 9 drinks in 3 1/2 hours ,,got behind the wheel of her SUV with John o’keefe and drove smashed drunk. So much so she told people , and I’m quoting her, “ Was so drunk ,I don’t remember anything from last night “!

God forbid you are in a terrifying situation like KR was and you are held to whatever you say while you’re in a panic. “Did I hit him?” Isn’t the same thing as “I hit him.” Had first responders or cops heard her saying that don’t you think they would have arrested her right there? Don’t you think they would have taken her BAC sooner had they heard that? The science says he was not hit by a car, but seems a lot of you have decided to ignore physics, biomechanics, kinematics, dynamics and common sense. Oh and the medical examiner would not rule his death homicide because even she concluded his injuries were not consistent with a pedestrian accident. The medical examiner and the brilliant witnesses the defense brought in (but only after the FBI sought them out) made it very clear that John O’Keefes injuries were not consistent with a pedestrian accident. But what’s science?
I believe the burdan has not been met by the state and the jury should not convict. However, if Karen is truly innocent she should have taken the stand... I would of!!!!!

I am not an anti-police person, but this case just does NOT add up! Too many inconsistencies and too much reasonable doubt. I feel terrible for JO’s family.
What it would mean in this case is that some juror drank the Kool-Aid and the BS that's prosecution and judge were putting out

Well something good will come out from this crazy trail..the truth came out about Proctor and his bias disgusting work ethic. And hopefully he will at least be fired or placed behind bars . So there will be a little justice to the Canton Community...as for the O'Keefe family.. I use to feel sorry for them. But after they invited their son's murders to the closing statements on Tuesday of last week. I lost all respect for them . The only ppl my heart goes to and wish nothing but justice for is, John O'Keefe (may he RIP)and Karen for the hell she has been thru Throughout this entire case.
