Great video. Here are a few tips of my own. The first is that the absolutely most important thing to highlight is the need for communication. It is absolutely essential as it is what pushes fronts. If you can, play with other people in a squad and constantly be talking to the players around you. Don't try to be a one-man army, that's not how the game was designed to be played. One of the most effective infantry tactics is the basic fire and maneuver. Have one or two guys in your group play as designated MG gunner and have him suppress enemy soldiers and structures while your teammates move up. If you aren't playing in a group, ask someone near you to suppress a position or even just cover you while you move up, or vice versa. Smoke grenades are also very good for maneuvering. If you're sticky or mammon rushing, make sure that some of your guys are bringing guns with them to combat intercepting enemies. I would even go so far as to specifically designating some people to protecting the rush from enemy infantry. I once saw a clip where an entire sticky rush was killed by a guy with a rifle because no one thought to bring a gun. What is bro's name at 11:39
Yea i get tired as a sgt of arguing with WO's who log in 1 hour to launch trembolas and demand i ditch my pistol and use only launcher when theres 50 enemy infantry running around the target, im like guy this is a contested front not a soft op flank, and they do nothing to request light arns back up i even heard one the other night tell smg users who were tagging along to go somewhere else of course we died b4 launching all trems that got looted by enemy. These so called officers have like 2k dmg vs enemy on activity log when im almost 15k vs enemy infantry. Ive been stuck as sgt for 4 years because i rarely do logi my role is anti infantry, looter that no one commends for. My comms for discord are kinda messed up so i dont stay in clans long. Im not that into rank but it does mean players take you more seriously.

Im having a better time in able now i figured out how to switch, it seems theres less brats and rejects because everyones busy fighting a way more intense frontline, it seems rejects goto charlie to talk smack to friendly infantry from their tank. If i like the comms of an officer i take his lead, im doing more now on front like swinging hammer and repping tanks in between fighting. I played off and on for 5 years and only ssgt but im stoked i can finally make regiments. Able shard is way more experienced players it seems that are too busy to talk unnecessary smack. I left a reg on charlie who's leader constantly insulted his infantry that was mostly recruits but i had to explain the aiming system to the 2lt leader like how to aim behind the target before i lost my cool with his insults. We infantry gain commends slow from the heat of battle theres not time to commend i suppose. Yea but like you said not super important.
7:31 please remember that any trench you build is also a trench the enemy can take. Long break up your LoS by not building straight lines if you can help it, also make it so stairs face out towards your lines. This allows nades to roll in and provide less cover to hostiles that take it, and allows people to easily carry wounded out.
Do ppl mind if i put a small sandbag bunker facing the same direction as the trench so there can higher elevation at flank of trench or behind? This would be at a contested front where were dug in that trench for a while. Good advice about the stairs that also helps bail from nade faster, im gonna start asking permission to do to existing trenches. 2 on each sides would cause enemy to group in middle for cover and become mortar targets or is there a better plan.
@@rudestbeast4907 this is gonna mainly boil down with whoever made and is running the trench line. The issue is any cover you put near a trench is cover that can be used against the trench. If the sandbags you want have active AI garrison cover, then I don't see why not.
My key rule, remember the phrase, the infantry support the tanks so the tanks support the infantry. And just repeat. Also recommend trying to fill one of these roles and find 2 people who also have 2 separate roles and stay as a 3 even if that means you gotta follow someone around as an example a lot of work can be done with a good grenade some suppression from and mg and a bayonet. Grenade, suppress, advance, if you capture ground hold until the machine gun can move up and repeat

I had to scour several google results to figure out to press 'V' to pick them up. Also medics often dont realise they are dead and spend time following me. Some exposure on this would be great. Battlefield recycler is a decent thing for people to know. Or, if its a stalemate, dont take guns at all and grab some off the dead.
My favorite lately is scavenge and ammo running of course i carry an ar or rifle, i build a mini fob which basically is a box close to the point of contact but in our ranks and bring up ammo or scavenge, everyone been real nice about not raiding it all. I still get some kills i have like 600 hours xp at infantry. Or sometimes i help hold the line and wait for the push but i actually find looting the dead a fun time in between kills. I guess its the ark and day z player in me i get momentarily excited when i loot good stuff to bring back to the box I have to remind myself to not get to greedy and over extend.
Field Machine Guns are fun, and they can actually stay relevant throughout the war for bridge pushes/defense and other areas where infantry is the main threat.

As a tank driver, please stay clear of the tanks. Good tank crews will provide you with the necessary cover or fire, but you need to listen to the tankers. Co-oordinate, tell us what you see, what you need destroyed, where there are mines etc. I've been able to push with a solo tank crew and infantry two wars ago, clearing town after town. It's possible.
1/3 of tankers are a holes that demand with screaming thar we suicide charge at tanks and heavily defended points before reversing to the rear or yell at us when we give scout info and tell at us to help repair them instead but the chill ones are awesome.

Start by bringing the semi auto, the bolt action and smgs promise glory with hard hits or fast fire rate. At the start, get used to the gunplay with semi auto rifle so you can fire accurately quickly with fast follow up shots.
My first time playing i had to gather small force to try to stop an enemy flank. Unfortunately this did not work because they had enough men to start building fortifications and it mowed us down. The outcome of this was they started sending suicide squads to take out our factories.

Liked Souly for the Trench section. I get so sick in tired of Vets yelling at new players for digging trenches instead of showing how they can be useful if built correctly.
I just avoid picking up a shovel, i build boxes instead that work as cover and i mostly build them without getting yelled at and the enemy rarely destroys those and my team seems to enjoy the cover i put at a choke point thats elevated instead of firing from a trench.
For the Venom or Bane there actually is a difference. Venoms are more lighter than Banes and are much better for offensive actions. While the Bane is good for defence when your hunkering down in a garrison. A good tip is that you can hunker down in a garrison with red encumbrance. So you can absolutely stock yourself full with AP RPGs and wait for tanks to come by within range. Just make sure you have a gas mask and some filters. I managed to kill a couple of warden tanks solo using this strategy. This will probably work best if you can have multiple people with you since it take around on average 5 to 6 shots with the Bane to kill a Warden tank. Mileage may very, I have not much time using these weapons.
looting can be tremendously impactful. When bases are cut off of logi, the only way to a base could survive is by looting. In current war 109, Macha's Keening held on partially thanks to that and thanks to logi who supplied 500 shirts 😍

No the sniper rifle is rarely produced or used, we collies have the omen which is our long rifle. The game can be very casual or hardcore. If you play frontline is mostly cool players. If you try hard in backline to win the war you will experience drama. Its an online game so there are "toxic" players but this is the most randomly social game i play, i meet like 2 cool random players evert night. There is nothing else like it. Every thing you do you will be appreciated by someone else. Players for most part are not toxic, they are stressed out and responding calmly and considering they might kno what they are complaining about can change them into a friend. The LMG i guess can be boring until you mow down 8 players because you were patient. Patience is a huge factor when playing infantry. The LMG shines at defense. But the goto weps are rifles nades and smgs. The rule is dont fire any wep at out of range enemies which new infantry often do. Patience and holding fire tricks the enemy to advance into your killzone. Its so casual sometimes on frontline that an enemy infantry is hanging out with us in our ranks. There is an occasional larper yelling at us from a tank but tankers are mostly chill.

as a medic if your not babysitting the infantry around you you really need to. and if your set in defense pick a spot to drop some gauze and blood
Also i dont need 3 medics inside a trench thirsty to heal but hampering trench movement before mortar takes all 4 of us out.
As a frontline builder it's a prereq to have a touch of the Tism if you don't have fresh Tism store bought is fine

It's amazing how more effective teaching is vs yelling and telling players "no trench for you"

Dont use the baisic infantry kit he showed you it puts heavy bourdon on the logiboys a rifle or a smg is enough for the normal infantryman
