Are you a mind reader or something, I was looking at those exact templates this morning and thinking how cool it would be if I had time to make a paper Rubik’s cube. 😂🤯 Great video though.
Nice video! It's amazing that Paper Rubik's Cubes get more attention in the cubing community! There are better designs for Paper Rubik's cubes out there by now though. Also, if you really want to build the lightest 3x3 Rubik's Cube, try thinner paper, it should get you under 10g. My cubes weigh in at about 10g and I think if I tried, I could build one with only about 5 grams.
It’s interesting how you can see the back of the cube since it’s a wireframe. You could probably get more information per second from a cube that you can see the back of and therefore be able to solve faster if algorithms took advantage of this. The limitations humans have in solving cubes is that they can only see 3 faces but if you can see other faces you can offload more of your memory to further steps ahead. Idk, just food for thought.
It could definitely be useful for when you have F2L pieces in a back slot, or to recognize certain PLL's easier. Any cube that gives you more information than normal would definitely be banned by the WCA, though.
@@Z3Cubing It would be cool if there was a way to display perfect information of the cube to the solver through like a VR headset just to see how fast humans could actually solve the cube. I’m sure someone has done this already.
thanks z3 cubing for your 5x5x5 tutorial it was fun and also on the second day of wathing you tutorial i learned how to solve whitout wacthing your video

Cut holes in this one to make it even lighter.(it will probably not be useable at all) but it is still a rigid cube, and it will be very light.
