You can use the GAN 11M Pro's corner-core magnet system to stabilize the cube a bit. You can glue the magnets to the end of the corner & glue a small extension to the core & place a magnet there.

What you could do is make it so the edges and corners “lock” with each other like they do on a normal cube by having part of the inner edge stick out so that the cone that you would normally see on the inner part of a corner can go into the edge and it will (probably) stop popping

I actually made a lego rubiks cube myself about a year ago. The pieces stayed together better than this one. But whenever it fell apart one of the fragile pieces on the inside had fallen of.

Try gluing the pieces together. It will still be made out of all Legos, but it will be a lot more secure
