    Thank you for all of your videos! They are so informative! I am applying to my program this September. Im nervous about getting accepted. Did you have an interview process? How competitive is your program?

      Good luck!! 💖 my program did not require an interview & there’s a 2 year waitlist to get into my program so I guess you can say it’s on average with other community colleges

    I'm starting xray school next semester. Listening to you describe comps has me terrified. I don't know if can handle that kind of pressure. Any tips for a newbie like me?

    • @jonathanrivera5599
      @jonathanrivera5599  3 года назад +4

      I was the same way when I first started, you'll be surprised at how much you are capable of when you have to think quick on your feet in the clinical environment. Try to not overthink it and not look at the board of upcoming exams because then you start to get anxious and stress when that patient that you need a comp on will come in. It has worked for me!

    I have a question, before getting into the program we’re you already in the medical field or not at all? I’m currently not in the medical field and I’m finding it hard to get into the radiology program because I’m not in the medical field

    • @jonathanrivera5599

      I was not previously in the medical field before I got accepted into my program, just had to do prereq classes and pass the teas!

    well, compare to being an intern/a house officer/a fy1 doctor/a junior doctor, this seems fine. Believe me, this is waaaaayyy better, not as hectic, panicky, emergency as what interns are facing every single day. Im tired...Im one of them....i want to be a rad tech, seriously...im tireeeeddd....

    Do you have any classes online due to Covid or is your program fully on campus and clinic

    • @jonathanrivera5599

      We have all of our lectures on zoom, our lab is on campus, and we have clinical at the hospital still 😊

    How hard is it to balance clinicals/school and work? Seems like it would be nearly impossible during the last year of the degree.

    • @jonathanrivera5599
      @jonathanrivera5599  3 года назад +1

      It is really hard at first to balance it because everything is so new, but once you create a schedule you start to get the hang of things
