Hi Jonathan. how have you been. i am currently in 3rd semester of my program. i hope you've been adjusting fine and having a great time with the new endeavours. I have a request to make. can you please consider making a video regarding all the books you used throughout your program? for us we use different books at time 2 books for a single class and i am not studying in the states. (it would be really helpful)
Hey there! I just ran into your videos..give us an update since a year ago plse 😂 Hope you’re doing well. Are you practicing now?
Plus you are truly motivated I feel motivated I can work too!!
Thanks John I'm definitely making a list of things I start Oct 4 🔥🔥😎
Hey how are you been my friend i have a question??
GAH I wish I was in your class! You are ON IT. You are obviously a fantastic caring student who is 100% in it 🔥
updste?
going to apply in 2024 in california any tips please
Did you pass?
You're suppose to be wearing your dosimeter at thyroid level not your crotch dude
The fact that you’re in this rigorous program and able to upload such informative content. God be with you 😂 but This is very accurate
Do you have all semester to comp or is there a deadline? How long does it typically take you to become comfortable enough to comp an exam? Just wondering how I should pace myself. Thanks! :)
How do labs work? Do you work on one another? Is it hard to palpate the bones? I start next month. I'm excited, but incredibly nervous that I won't know what to feel for when positioning!
From 1-10 how hard is school
6:10 interesting tone
I really enjoy your videos about x Ray! Great job! Very informative 👌
Last semester was my second semester and it was really hard! I did not post on youtube for monthssss! I am still a freshman student. Thank you for posting your experience. I just started posting my journey as well!
ra --- ja pa, the sunshine! d = directed! da = this! You cannot, ever see, bones in, any X-Ray! Coaxial -- proves it! Koa Rothman-- lame vids!
Nice video, thanks !
How long have you been in school ?
Watching this video is so relatable. I am also a second year rad tech student, and the third semester is... really hard. It's interesting to see the differences from my program compared to yours. I had physics last semester and rad bio this semester. And yes, I don't find physics that fun either, was boring. I find it interesting you only have clinical 2 days a week, for me, once we are seniors, we go 3 days a week, which is a really rough transition from when I was a freshman and only going twice a week. We are doing our special rotations this winter too, I am dreading doing exit comps for my last semester. But like many of my classmates say, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Already took 2 out of 4 of my finals and thankfully finished the minimum comps I needed for this semester really early. Good luck, we got this! :)
went through a lot of the same stuff as you did lol with all the exams and clinical being cancelled due covid XD good luck
Happy Thanksgiving 🎉thanks for sharing information. This fall my first semester Rad tech college, omg so hard )) our lectures on Zoom, only lab in person 😅 I am proud of you 👏 you almost finished 🙏🙌
Руслан,а ты где учишься? Я на правильном языке спрашиваю?) Я во Флориде, первый семестр тоже.
@@ustat2003 Привет 🖐я в Нью-Йорке учусь, Citytech college
Hey I’m a senior in high school currently looking for schools that offer radiologic technology. I just wanted to ask you, are you currently in a 2 year school that a radiologic tech major, or are you in a 4 year school? Thanks for this video very helpful, best of luck in the future.
2 year radiologic tech major (: thank you!!
Hi Jonathan, I'm new to your channel. are they still doing essays at rad school? I'm hoping to get accepted by November. What kind of courses are they teaching in the first semester? was it tough through your first semester?
Hi Sheeba! I have only written 1 essay so far, and it was only 2 pages worth. You typically take your basic classes the first semester, ex: patient care, intro to rad, rad exposures.
What school do you go to?
Your making it look easy man! I am applying for rad in April but I am stressing out about transitioning to another job that will work with the schedule they do. I’m thinking about something low stress like a night janitorial position or something. When you said your a shift managers for a pharmacy I was laughed at myself for being lazy LMAO. Respect!
You should sell your notes ! I would definitely buy !!
you have a neat handwriting.....
I just found your channel and I love the information your provide I am not sure what I want to go back to school for but I know I love health care
well, compare to being an intern/a house officer/a fy1 doctor/a junior doctor, this seems fine. Believe me, this is waaaaayyy better, not as hectic, panicky, emergency as what interns are facing every single day. Im tired...Im one of them....i want to be a rad tech, seriously...im tireeeeddd....
Oh wow, that’s interesting. Was there a lot of papers? What’s the work load daily like?
Im so scared to start clinicals because I’m a very shy person 😭😢
Awe dont feel shy and its perfectly normal to be nervous! the patients dont know what you're doing so "fake it till you make it"! you got this!
You mentioned that u still work, do u work full time or part time?
I work part time! After I’m done clinical, I’ll head to work & work the night shift
@@jonathanrivera5599 Hey man, if not too intrusive may I ask what kind of job do you have? I'm trying to figure out what part time job I will try to get once I start clinicals in March, so far my best option seems to be the night shift at UPS or Fedex.
Woot woot!
❤️💞
been feeling discouraged about starting this career path but your vids makes me wanna go for it
Same here. I start rad school this coming fall and I’m so nervous.
Go for it & don’t look back. All the hard work and stress will be worth it at the end. Keep your head up (:
i love your videos!! so so so helpful for someone whose going to start the same program as you in Jersey!! THANK YOU ✨💛 please make more about ur experience and what your application process was like (were you on the waiting list & for how long? did you save up money working before the program started? do student loans cover all of those hidden book/scrubs fees in ur other video?)
ahhh!!! i’ve been searching through x-ray videos to see what it’s like because i started the process for THIS PROGRAM at brookdale!!! ✨✨ so happy i just came across ur channel & can’t wait to start this journey!
I like your videos! RRT here!
Thank you so much for this cleared up so many questions I had
Foothill has lot pre recs just to apply to be in lottery system sucks
Have you tried Cañada as well?
That’s a good beat
Starting my program in the fall def going to use these tips thanks!
This is making me really nervous, idk why.
You can do a “GRWM for clinical” or a “how I study/ studying vlog”?
thank you for this video, it’s perfect timing! I enrolled in my local community college for the rad tech program and I am coming to terms with the fact that i may need to take out student loans for this career change 😢
It sucks, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Good luck with your classes ❤️
