In my opinion, venturing into a good investment, is not just a strategy for generating passive income but a profitable saving method for future expenses. Good video and I share the opinion on long term impact of carbon credits. Regarding your example of Shell I disagree with putting them in the same category as Exxon. Shell is spending over 2 billion dollar p.a. into renewable energy with acquisitions in growing small companies. In addition to that they already invested in carbon credits projects themselfs and they plan to become a leader for selling carbon credits to competitors in the oil industry. Despite all old economy companies with lots of carbon offsets also players like LVMH and Walmart invest in voluntary carbon credits to improve their green image for a few bucks. Carbon Streaming is a nice play.

@@Alex-e-Azam They're creating securities out of no where, backed by no value, with no cash flow and no utility. And the only exit strategy is a greater fool who bought them from you at a lesser discount.
@@futurewolffilms607 exactly. These Carbon credits could get created out of imaginary or dumb projects. As long as it got approved by an (corrupt) authority. Governments could sell credits without doing anything for the environment. And think about who pays the bill for that at the end. It‘s only an additional tax that makes a few people rich(er).
The carbon credit project I am running is an opportunity for us to make a choice between cattle farm (currently), shrimp farm proposed and restored wetland/grassland project that will incorporate a renewable energy source for the community. Without the credits, no choice. Please consider the good going on here. I have no doubt there are scams in every area of investments. Real estate, stocks, crypto. I welcome constructive input.

Investing is synchronized coordinated extraction measuring which is balancing debt creation in it's entirety. It's impossible, yes, but that's what it is for the first time in human history. I sacrificed my inheritance to understand what it is.
Not sure if this problem needs a third party solve it. I think companies and homeowners are able to change their light to LED light or plant a tree by themselves if the government offered a tax cut without a need to a third party. Please comment on this if you think I’m wrong.
I think without some authorities that strictly enforce this huge project will no happen, although it is true that all of us can do this even without the project but looking at today's condition we definitely can tell that everyone isnt really taking care of environment rightly

Carbon credits in theory is a good idea, but there are lots of shady businesses involved in it like bad carbon capture projects approved and credits distributed to anyone... I still think that in 10 years it will have proven to be a good investment if there's more regulation and control over those credits
