I just received the blades from Etsy and nice to see you have this video available! I was scratching my head a little at first but this makes it perfectly clear! Glad I found your video's and items for sale on Etsy. I have limited tools so the hubs and gear box would be very difficult. Getting things ready for summer break so my grandson and I can start making the rower. Thanks again! Bob
Hi Bob! Yeah, it's always nice to see someone else do it first, before you give it a try. I'll get crackin' on a kit for you. It's a real easy kit to put together. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
That is a great tutorial. I think I need to send my kit back to you and just pay you to get it ready for paint. I do not have the equipment, nor the talent to get it ready for use.
Hi Ducelick! Thank you. If you want, you can send back the kit, and then I will trade you for a completed (sunflower) 4" 8-bladed propeller (plus $20 for shipping). Also, I was thinking that maybe you could take your kit to one of your local schools, and have their wood shop class students put the propeller together for you; just a thought!.Warm greetings from Wishram.
Thanks for all the tips on how you get a perfect fit on the blades. Appreciate you Buddy, take care
Hi Lloyd! You are most welcome. I hope these kits inspire people to make their own whirligigs. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Putting the propellers together reminds me of playing with Tinker Toys. 😊
Hi Lynn! I had almost forgot about the Tinker Toys; it is like putting them together. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
