Sometimes you can get rebates from the power company if you get someone certified to install it for you. Hi friend! Sorry you're having problems. I would check with a voltmeter to see if you are getting the proper voltage to the outdoor unit. If that's good, then I would check to see if the air handler inside is getting the proper voltage. Also, check the wiring diagram to make sure you have all the wires in the right places. If all else fails, call a HVAC technician. They should be able to figure it out. My unit has been working well, and I've been grateful to have it with all the hot weather we've been having. Hi Ted! I actually don't have much experience with worm gears except with this rower whirligig. I haven't found a need for grease with my worm gears, as there isn't much load on them, just the weight of the oars, and the figure as he pulls back on the oars. I don't see why I couldn't fill my gearboxes with grease; I'm sure it would make the gears last longer, but then you couldn't see the gears working, which is kinda fun. Sometimes, I put a drop or two of motor oil on the gears, and where the oars go through his hands, but this creates a real mess over time. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
