Pentagon is that rare type of group who is cherished and respected by other idol groups who understand the heavy work they do in every performance meanwhile the general public doesn't like that much because of stupid reasons and misconceptions. Proud of them, proud of their work, proud of Hui and Kino who are doing amazing rearranging every song and every choreography in the program, proud of being an universe. Boys, you're gold, you deserve more and we are here holding your back forever.

유일하게 편곡, 안무 다 직접하는 가순데.. 이렇게 대우받을 가수가 아닌데.. 어디서 누가 내 가수를 평가하는지 모르겠지만 우리아이들 눈빛과 움직임 하나하나 눈여겨 봐주시길. 이번결과는 승복할수없지만 이 무대가 끝이 아니기에 참고 기다려보겠다..요
I cannot accept the result which was made by someone who may not know who actually Pentagon is but this is not a final result so we will wait and see how Pentagon makes their dream come true.

영어로는 한계가 있네... 유니버스 겸 몬베베라서 아는데 팔로우는 진짜 편곡하기 정말 힘들었을거다. 몬엑은 솔직히 대중성보다는 자신들만의 색깔, 퍼포먼스가 확고한 그룹이고 그래서 타그룹들도 커버를 잘 안하고 그나마 되었던 커버가 중독성있는 멜로디로 떴었던 드라마라마 정도다. 그리고 몬스타엑스는 주로 퍼포먼스와 무대에 있어서 펜타곤같은 여유로움보다는 완벽함이 더 돋보이는 그룹이기에 편곡과 안무창작의 과정에서 퍼포먼스도 봤을지는 모르겠지만 편곡이든 안무창작이든 정말 쉽지않은 일이었을거다. 팔로우는 처음 발매당시 몬베베들도 상당히 독특한 멜로디라고 평가했었으니까. 그런의미에서 아마 다른팀이 했으면 이정도로 소화도 못했을거다. 어떤 노래든 자신들만의 색으로 바꿀 수 있게 잘 편곡하는 후이가 있고 안무와 무대를 구성할수있는 키노가 있으며 이 둘이 새로 만든 무대를 잘 따라가고 소화하는 펜타곤 멤버들이기에 가능했다고 생각한다. 팔롤롤로 부분이 잘못 들리는걸 이용해서 이렇게 컨셉을 구상한것도 대단하고 음색의 차이를 펜타곤식으로 편곡해서 어색함이 없게 만든것도 정말 대단하다. 펜타곤 너희는 정말 너무 잘했어. 정말 자랑스러워.
원곡 아이돌의 팬도 아니고, 펜타곤의 팬도 아니지만 원곡 첨 들었을때 이걸 어떻게 편곡을 해? 생각부터 들었음. 밉보였나 싶을정도로 원곡 자체 존재감이 어마어마하잖아. 다른 멤버가 ~~이렇게 들리지않아요? 하는 말을 웃으며 넘기는게 아니라 귀담아듣고 리더가 뜯어고쳐서 나온 컨셉과 편곡이라 더 대단했음. 애초에 원곡의 컨셉이 지독하게 확고한 타입이었다는걸 생각해두면 정말 대단한거임..... 오히려 펜타곤 다시봤다
I came here as a Monbebe and I really like that they didn't just cover, but they made huge changes with their own color to the song "follow", which made it really cool. also they delivered the savageness that Monsta X always has a focus on (on Mvs and Stages). also if you know about middle eastern music vibes, they changed it from Turkish vibes to Arab vibes which made it completely different (the dresses and removing some specific instruments). overall I liked it and I respect Pentagon a lot. I wish them the best of luck in this program.

Yeah... i mean i guess one could argue that one of the REASONS why these legend stages are being created and pushing boundaries is because there's a competitive component that drives them beyond the limits, but i just wish the elimination process hadn't been there... just some simple ranking amongst themselves as mutual encouragement would have sufficed...

Although it’s only my opinion, but I think that it’s very obvious that they were really giving us a “live performance.” Other groups also did a great job but I think that they didn’t turn on the mic sounds that loud so it’s hard for me to hear their true vocal. Their breathing sound and vocal are so clear and stable at the same time!!!! But still people keep sleeping on them... I just don’t understand how can they be so underratedㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Yeah the first thing that stood out to me and that I appreciated is that it’s clear that these are live vocals and they aren’t singing over a backtrack with vocals. Even parts of the ktl performance seemed to have been prerecorded but no other groups have showed a performance where the vocals were THIS CLEARLY being sung and rapped live on the mics

여태까지 영상보면서 댓글을 달아본 적이 없는데 이번 무대는 정말 아이돌을 떠나서 한 사람이 자신이 가려는 목표를 위해서 몸이 부서져라 춤추고 목이 찢어져라 노래 부르는 모습이 내 몸이 떨릴정도로 절실해 보여서 응원을 할 수 밖에 없다.

무대 현장자체투표는 거의 1등에 가까웠는데.
팬투표는 그룹마다 팬20명씩 모여서 한거라던데 그냥 꼴찌 점수네요? 팬투표를 70퍼센트나 반영하면서. 무조건 견제표가 생길수 없는 구조로 만든거 너무 아쉽네요. 너무 잘했고 여기 댓글만 봐도 펜타곤 너무 잘한거 다들 아시는거 같으니 멤버들 절대 울고 무너지지 않으면 좋겠어요

That's so true, i was actually disappointed to see some artist lipsync. Its okay to use AR, i dont even mind even if they use 70% AR, but some outright lipsynced
You can see a very distinct stage from each group live singing. PENTAGON was the only performance where I go "Wow my boys is doing it LIVE!" Their voices was so clear.
This and the shine+spring snow stage is clear

진짜 말이 안나온다...얼마나 몰입감이 쩔면 무대 후반 가서는 숨도 제대로 안쉬어짐ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ그만큼 보는 사람 빨아들이는 무언가가 엄청 강한 거 같음...진짜 보는 내내 소름 돋고 입 떡벌리고 있었는데 이게 어떻게 5위...? 평가단 눈은 발바닥에 달렸나요...? 이 무대를 내가 현장에서 못본게 정말 한이다...펜타곤 라이브 완전 끝장나니까 현장에서 봤으면 이것보다 더했을 텐데...유토가 파라라오라고 잘못 들은걸 가지고 이런 무대를 만들었다는게 말이 안된다 ㄹㅇ 천재집단...
직접 편곡하고 안무짜고.. 정말 대단한거 같아요..! 저도 입벌리고 봤는데 등수에서 깜놀~ 개인 인터뷰에서 무대보는 시각?시선?을 바꿔야하나 라고 울컥한 모습에 아니라고 위로해 주고 싶은 맘이였어요..이번 무대는 2위 안에 들었어야 하는게 맞는거 같아요..흙 ㅠㅠ
이 무대는 진짜 집중해서 여러번 봐야 함 댄서분들도 보고 음향도 보고 라이브감도 미쳤고 멤버들 눈빛도 봐야하고 여기서 잘 안보이는 안무도 있어서 아쉬움 ㅠㅠ 우석이랑 유토 부분 안무팀 안무 잘 보이는 거 보면 쩌는데 ㅠㅠ 후이 터팅 안무 후 다같이 소리치는것도 개좋고 사그러지고 키노 비추는 거랑 끝날때쯤 새소리 들리는 것도 미침 무대도 무대지만 음향 진짜 집중해서 들어야함 계속 비트가 귀를 때리는데 개좋음

Never really cared about the ranking but I've read a tweet that Hui says winning rtk and going to kingdom will be a good opportunity to promote Pentagon. Hui's gonna enlist next year so it's gonna be hard to have Pentagon as a complete 9 members and Cube might just promote them individually like they did to Btob. So this year is the only chance they have to succeed or else we have to wait longer to be together again :<

MX’s sounds have always been hard-hitting and unique. How tf was Hui gonna remake HAHAHAHA
But Pentagon has once done it again, delivering Follow’s energy and intensity perfectly while changing it up to a completely different vibe 🥺 Kihyun and MX has always made their insane energy choreos and songs seems so easy, but seeing Pentagon cover them, then we realise how tiring, intense and technical MX titles really are.
To be able to match up to such form of intensity and energy, yet produce a brand new feeling is seriously not easy. I’ve adored dark pentagon ever since their debut and PTG has delved into so many forms of different genres. I genuinely do hope PTG gets their appreciation and recognition soon :(

To be honest, All stages of "your song challenge" are incomparable in terms of performance. They were all perfect in their own way.
Too was too cool.
Verivery was very very good.
Oneus was so lit.

The boyz dominated the stage
And most importantly Our pentagon is the king, there is no doubt. The only reason why I want pentagon to be the 1st in this stage was because I know that they made this stage on their own. Hui didn't even sleep for days arranging this masterpiece and ended up questioning himself, Kino was trying to make perfect choreo tirelessly for days, Yuto Yeoone and Hongseok have been exercising nonstop just to show their body proudly to the public ( we know they surely didn't even drink water for days). Look at Wooseok and Shinwon, they surely are dominating this stage. Their vocals are so stable, and dance is on point. Please at least give them what they deserve.
This!! I’m a fan of almost every group on this show but Pentagon has been killing it for so long and working so hard. I just want them to reap the rewards and have great successes. 😭😭

코로나 때문에 무관중 되면서 제일 피해본게 펜타곤인거 같다. 라이브에 강하고 무대에서 실제로 주는 에너지가 강한 그룹인데.. 투표방식 중간에 선발된 팬투표 70퍼로 바뀌면서 공정함도 잃고.. 심지어 각팀팬 선발한거였고. 7000점 만점에 2700점ㅋㅋ 그거 다 펜타곤 팬들이 준 표 아닌가.. 서바이벌 몇번째하는 엠넷이 견제표 생길 구조 몰랐다고?ㅜㅜ 너무 상처받게 만드는거 같아서 안타깝다
I really hope they don't give up with the result of this stage. The result don't represent the whole audience especially the internal voting. i CANNOT believe this stage received 5th place; kino cried saying he feels like he needs to rethink the way he envisions stages entirely but i disagree - this stage was mindblowing on its own from start to finish and I'm not even particularly a fan of Pentagon... from the clothes to the props to the way that the backup dancers performed.....ALSO, IT WAS LIVE??? I mean HOW?? How can this stage NOT surpass the others, I am genuinely confused

I already commented this earlier but I just wanted to say it again, Shinwon is such a bias wrecker in this performance. Normally it’s hard to do that for a sub vocal who’s not in the dance line, but he does.
